Abstract

PESSOA, Sarah Bahr; BASTOS, Ivanilda Maria Silva  and  PADILHA, Viviane Elaine. O Nosso Bosque: an account of relationships and discoveries towards nature in Childhood Education. Invest. Práticas [online]. 2021, vol.11, n.2, pp.48-76.  Epub Sep 29, 2021. ISSN 2182-1372.  https://doi.org/10.25757/invep.v11i2.244.

This article is the result of a research developed as part of the Supervised Curricular Internship in Early Childhood Education of an academic from the 5th year of Pedagogy at Univille, held at a Child Education Center in the city of Joinville, Brazil. The investigation was based on a qualitative and descriptive approach through semi-structured interviews, with four teachers from the institution, with the objective of presenting the interviewed’s reports about their experiences in one of the institution's external spaces: the Grove. Subsequently, the teachers' speeches were analyzed in the light of the literature. With the analysis, it was possible to conclude that the center’s initiative should be cultivated and replicated, since the Grove, by bringing children closer to nature, provides multiple possibilities and contributions to the institution.
