With this article we intend to explore the different articulations between time and space in the practice of graffiti and street art. We look at these practices as performative acts, that bring together several actors and dimensions. The kind of performance carried-out is closely dependent on the spatio-temporal constraints and/or opportunities found. How and to what extent do these opportunities and constraints contribute to the artistic gesture and to the final artwork is something we intend to discuss.
