Through analyzes to the chronicles of Luis Fernando Veríssimo, this work aims to discuss the relationship between spoken and written language, showing and valuing their similarities and particularities, defending a no more dichotomous relationship; with the intention of studying the marks of orality in writing present in the literature, we will observe the dialogues constructed that give greater support to the representation of reality to the literary texts.
