TIMBANE, Alexandre António; DOMINGOS, Yuran Fernandes  y  AFONSO, Euclides Victorino Silva. O português angolano e a variação léxico-cultural no hip-hop: um exemplo com Yannick Afroman. RILP [online]. 2019, vol.36, pp.103-123.  Epub 29-Jul-2021. ISSN 2182-4452.  https://doi.org/10.31492/2184-2043.rilp2019.36/pp.103-123.

Thus, the songs lyrics of the Angolan singers reveal characteristic features of the Angolan variety of Portuguese. Raising the problem of the research questioned the linguistic traits that characterize the Angolan variety of Portuguese and which cultural aspects are behind? The research aims to understand linguistic traits of the Angolan variety of Portuguese. The research is cross- bibliographical with the documentary composed by two albums: “Mentalidade” (2008) and “Terra a terra” (2013). For the analyzes it was transcribed to facilitate analysis of the linguistic phenomena. It was concluded that Afroman reveals Angolanisms that denounce traits that incline to the Angolan norm of Portuguese. It is observed the use of expressions, vocabulary and syntactic constructions proper to the Angolanisms that mark the socio-cultural identity.
