MARQUES, Ana Carolina dos Santos. Between Poetry, Bodies and Cultural and Geographical Circuits: The Spatialization of Poetry Slam in Portugal. []. , 132, pp.145-168.   31--2023. ISSN 2182-7435.  https://doi.org/10.4000/rccs.15206.

This text investigates the cultural and geographical circuit of the Poetry Slam movement in Portugal. This spoken poetry competition involves spatial encounters that generate the geographical dynamics discussed in this article. The methodological procedures comprised fieldwork, participant observations, interviews with women poets and map making. I present a characterization of Poetry Slam, the geography of the poetic movement and the contemporary Portuguese context through its spatialization and interpretation. The central argument is that there is a cultural, poetic and geographical circuit existing on an international scale, which involves different poetic bodies (national and immigrant).
