The purpose of this article is to show the tensions inherent in the most recent evolution of the British parliamentary system and that Brexit has finally come to expose. These tensions are revealed in the executive's attempt to (re) establish a preponderance in relation to the other powers, on the one hand, and, on the other, in the most recent tendencies for the affirmation of the legislative and, above all, judicial powers. Against the recent reforms of the British parliamentary system induced by the integration of the United Kingdom into the European project, among which it is worth mentioning the Human Rights Act of 1998, it is maintained that Brexit means a reaffirmation of the traditional configuration of that system, with a clear reaffirmation executive power.
