Abstract

BONIXE, Luís. Pathways of Higher Education on Radio Journalism in Portugal. Media & Jornalismo [online]. 2016, vol.16, n.28, pp.39-53. ISSN 1645-5681.  https://doi.org/10.14195/2183-5462_28_2.

Radio, and in particular the radio journalism, is going through a period of changes resulting from the emergence of a communication paradigm dominated by technology and Internet. Radio journalists are facing new practices, routines and modes of production, generating challenges also in terms of their own training. In this context, what role is reserved for a degree in journalism and in particular, what is the space for radio journalism in this training? This article aims to contribute to a reflection about the path that is being followed in Portugal in relation to higher education in radio journalism.
