The FRAIL Scale and the SARC-F are valid tools designed specifically for the screening of physical frailty and sarcopenia, respectively. The aim of the present study was to produce valid, linguistically, and culturally adapted versions for the Portuguese language, while maintaining conceptual equivalence to the original tools. To this end, the standards of the Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) Consortium with the recommended twelve steps were followed. The FRAIL Scale and the SARC-F were applied to a convenience sample of the target population composed of nine individuals. Besides being easily understood and applied, these tools proved to have good acceptability and face validity. The translated version of these tools produced in the present work can be applied in the screening of physical frailty and sarcopenia, both in clinical and community context.
