Abstract

JIMENEZ, Antonio Felipe Delgado y. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE OF THE WORKERS THROUGH HIDDEN CAMERAS: THE CASE OF LÓPEZ RIBALDA AND OTHERS C. SPAIN (STEDH OF OCTOBER 17TH, 2019). Revista Internacional CONSINTER de Direito [online]. 2020, n.11, pp.621-636.  Epub Dec 18, 2020. ISSN 2183-6396.  https://doi.org/10.19135/revista.consinter.00011.30.

This research study analyses if the recording of the employer to the employee with hidden cameras in the workplace violates the regulations. To do so, we bring up the recent judgment of the Grand Chamber of the ECHR, case López Ribalda II, that justifies the installation of cameras due to the existence of reasonable suspicions with significant losses for the employer.
