The Regulation (UE) 2019/1150 was approved with the aim of protecting business users of online intermediation platforms. The privileged position of these platforms makes it possible to unilaterally impose the conditions of their contractual relationship. In this situation, the European Union has decided to approve this Regulation, for platforms to align their commercial practices with good faith and loyalty. In this way, not only the mentioned users will benefit, but also the final consumers. The Regulation (UE) 2019/1150 imposes a series of obligations in relation to the general contractual conditions, the use of data and an internal complaints system that these platforms must provide. The observance of these obligations will suppose the adaptation of the platforms to this new legal regime, for this the Regulation gives a term for it, until 12 of July 2020, that is, a little more than a year from its approval. In this paper, the indicated aspects of the Regulation (UE) 2019/1150 are analyzed in depth and the doctrine that has stated her opinion on it is studied.
