Abstract

MAGRO JUNIOR, José Carlos  and  SILVA, João Carlos Riccó Plácido da. Design Thinking in contemporary teaching processes. Revista Convergências [online]. 2020, vol.13, n.26, pp.23-30.  Epub Nov 30, 2020. ISSN 2184-0180.  https://doi.org/10.53681/c1514225187514391s.26.14.

Teaching has always appropriated concepts from antiquity to develop its pedagogical methods. Contemporary society has had changes in the social context and human interaction, the emergence of new technologies and the connected world has developed generations that need other forms of information, which are beyond traditional ones. This factor creates the need to develop new teaching methods, using new tools to improve pedagogical forms. The present work seeks to present Design Thinking as a method that helps to reflect on the current teaching scenario, presenting new approaches to be used in the classroom. To this end, it uses several scientific publications already validated and proven, drawing a parallel with the possible applications of methods in teaching. These encourage new content and complex interrelationships of information among teachers, providing group problem solving and receiving feedback on the results obtained, allowing new teaching-learning processes.
