Abstract
PORTILHO, Juliana Labatut. Poetic consciousness of objects: a form of aesthetic awareness from the surrealist object. Revista Convergências [online]. 2021, vol.14, n.27, pp.115-122. Epub May 31, 2021. ISSN 2184-0180. https://doi.org/10.53681/c1514225187514391s.27.68.
This article proposes an analysis of a notion of object arising from the surrealist movement that comes from investigations in the field of language, especially in poetry. The proposal will be to trace a path that recounts a part of the surrealist history that emphasizes the beginning of explorations in language until the interests on the images, a moment that will culminate in the first sketches on the notion of surrealist object proposed by this work. Along this path, the idea will be defended that surrealist magazines (especially those published between the years 1919 and 1939) manifested the surrealist object and promoted an aesthetic awareness that is related to poetic awareness and also to the experience of the dreams.
