SEVERIANO, Débora Bessa. The Vermischter Geschmack in Telemann. Revista Convergências [online]. 2021, vol.14, n.27, pp.123-132.  Epub May 31, 2021. ISSN 2184-0180.  https://doi.org/10.53681/c1514225187514391s.27.74.

In the late 17th and beginning of the 18th century found the development of a particular german style which has been called Vermischter Geschmack. In this article we try to briefly identify the origins of this german aesthetic and characterize the concept highlighting its predominant influences - french and italian music, and german counterpoint. To further illustrate this proposal, we present an extract from a piece from the composer whose work, in our understanding, gather all this influences in a true german mixed taste - Georg Philipp Telemann. Our methodology consisted in bibliographical and documental research as well as the descriptive musical analysis of examples of the late baroque.

Keywords : Telemann; Vermischter Geschmack; German mixed taste; Late baroque.
