SOUZA, Claudia Teresa Vieira de et al. New paths for the Plataforma de Saberes project in the context of the COVID-19 transpandemic: Innovative actions to promote health and produce knowledge. NTQR [online]. 2022, vol.13, e644.  Epub 08-Set-2022. ISSN 2184-7770.  https://doi.org/10.36367/ntqr.13.2022.e644.

Introduction: The project “Platform of Knowledge: involvement and participation of the community in innovative practices of health promotion and knowledge production” (PPS) is a project that seeks, among other purposes, to contribute to empowerment, autonomy and social inclusion of the participants through educational actions in health. Annually, the PPS carries out a prior planning of its activities, and given the epidemiological context of COVID-19, it was necessary to rethink them, including our way of continuing the project. Objectives: To describe the activities carried out remotely and in person by the PPS in the years 2020/2021. Methods: Qualitative, descriptive, exploratory research, carried out in three moments (June/2020, September/2020 and October/2021), with PPS participants (patients with infectious/chronic diseases, health problems and their friends/family). Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, using Content Analysis as a methodological framework. Results: Listening carefully to demands by phone was a communication strategy that became powerful in the period of isolation, just as the WhatsApp application was an important space for sharing educational videos produced by the PPS and disseminated by community group leaders, partners from the project. The videos addressed the topics of Physical Activity and Healthy Eating and sought to minimize stress, depression and anxiety. Regarding face-to-face activity, the group studied was motivated to perform physical activity and body practices and showed physical and emotional improvement in carrying out the activity, reinforcing the idea of self-care and the benefits of this experience. We intend to continue these healthy practices as a space for the production of knowledge and care, aiming to provide PPS participants with quality of life. Conclusions: Rethinking new possibilities of promoting health in the face of health emergencies and increasing the comprehensiveness of health care and care in the Brazilian Unified Health System was our intention with the presentation of this manuscript.
