A família da criança com doença crónica: Abordagem de algumas características

RESUMO

Neste artigo a autora apresenta uma revisão de alguns estudos desenvolvidos no âmbito da investigação que aborda a família da criança com doença crónica. Dedica especial destaque a aspectos relativos à influência familiar no ajustamento da criança, e ao ajustamento psicológico dos pais e irmãos.

Palavras-chave: Doença crónica, crianças, família.

 

ABSTRACT

In this paper the author presents a revision of studies that have been developed in the research area concerning the family of children with chronic illness. The author emphasizes the aspects related with the familiar influence on child adjustment and the psychological adjustment of parents and siblings.
