Modelo explicativo sobre a intenção empreendedora

Resumo. O objectivo deste estudo é o de investigar a intenção empreendedora. Tendo em conta a revisão bibliográfica, foi desenvolvido um modelo sobre as características pessoais dos empresários, fundamentado na teoria sobre o entrepreneurship. O modelo de investigação inclui os seguintes elementos: antecedentes pessoais, conhecimentos empresariais, motivações empreendedoras, auto-eficácia empreendedora e envolvente institucional. No capítulo sobre as conclusões deste estudo são apresentadas as implicações teóricas e práticas, assim como as limitações e sugestões para futuras investigações.

Palavras-chave: Entrepreneurship, características pessoais dos empresários, intenção empreendedora.

 

Abstract. The aim of this study was to investigate the entrepreneurial intention. Based on the literature review, a theoretical model relating entrepreneur’s personal characteristics studied from entrepreneurship approach has been developed. The research model included constructs from each theoretical model: personal background, entrepreneurial knowledge, entrepreneurial motivations, entrepreneurial self-efficacy and institutional environment. Hypotheses were developed along the respective constructs required. Theoretical and practical contributions along with directions for future research and limitations to the study were presented in conclusion chapter.
