O estudo possui caráter exploratório e descritivo, com abordagem qualitativa, e apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa de campo desenvolvida em uma escola da rede pública de ensino de nível médio, com formação de professores, localizada em Nova Iguaçu, município da Região Metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro. Dentre os resultados encontrados, destacam-se o uso mais acentuado da aprendizagem baseada em projetos e os benefícios das Metodologias Ativas, como o foco nos alunos e a maior possibilidade de atuação participativa dos estudantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Considering the importance of engaged learning and the role of young people in a global transformation process aimed at sustainability, this article aims to investigate the use of Active Methodologies in teaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It has an exploratory and descriptive character, a qualitative approach and presents the results of field research, carried out in a public high school, with teacher training, in Nova Iguaçu, a municipality in the Metropolitan Region of Rio de Janeiro. Among the results found, we highlight the greater use of project-based learning, and the benefits of active methodologies such as the focus on students and the greater possibility of student participation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Considerando la importancia del aprendizaje comprometido y el papel de los jóvenes en un proceso de transformación global orientado a la sostenibilidad, este artículo tiene como objetivo investigar el uso de Metodologías Activas en la enseñanza de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS). Tiene carácter exploratorio y descriptivo, abordaje cualitativo y presenta los resultados de una investigación de campo, realizada en una escuela secundaria pública, con formación docente, de Nova Iguaçu, municipio de la Región Metropolitana de Río de Janeiro. Entre los resultados encontrados se encuentra el mayor uso del aprendizaje basado en proyectos, y los beneficios de metodologías activas como el enfoque en los estudiantes y la mayor posibilidad de participación de los estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
