No entanto, como se    demonstra ao longo deste artigo, v&aacute;rios museus cient&iacute;ficos portugueses    exercem tamb&eacute;m fun&ccedil;&otilde;es de produ&ccedil;&atilde;o e reprodu&ccedil;&atilde;o    da ci&ecirc;ncia atrav&eacute;s de actividades de ensino e forma&ccedil;&atilde;o    de cientistas e de investiga&ccedil;&atilde;o cient&iacute;fica. </p>     <p><b>Palavras-chave:</b> museus; ci&ecirc;ncia; investiga&ccedil;&atilde;o; ensino.  </p>     <p>&nbsp;</p>     <p>Science    museums are essentially spaces where science is exhibited and disseminated to    a lay public.
