En este ejercicio, se plantea distinguir los eventos de las rupturas para producir una síntesis geohistórica a través de la elaboración de mapas con el propósito de estudiar la huella portuaria en un territorio a lo largo del tiempo. La metodología empleó la observación, a través de los mapas antiguos, las distintas etapas de cambio y mutación de la relación ciudad-puerto y medición de este proceso en su dimensión espacial. Este enfoque permite cuestionar el papel de un puerto en el proceso de elaboración territorial y, al final, interrogarse sobre la legitimidad de los puertos en decadencia a seguir ejerciendo una autoridad sobre el desarrollo territorial.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é descrever o processo de maritimização utilizando o conceito de trajetória sociotécnica da baía de Pasaia desde o séc. XVI, data a partir da qual existe cartografia disponível até ao presente, graças ao desenvolvimento dos sistemas de informação geográfica (SIG), que permitem identificar os lugares com precisão, por meio de mapas produzidos a partir de fontes históricas cartográficas e documentais. Neste exercício, propõe-se distinguir os eventos das rupturas para produzir uma síntese geo-histórica através da elaboração de mapas com o objetivo de estudar a pegada portuária de um território ao longo do tempo. A metodologia recorreu à observação, através de mapas antigos, das distintas etapas de mudança e mutação da relação cidade-porto e medição deste processo na sua dimensão espacial. Esta abordagem permite questionar o papel de um porto no processo de desenvolvimento territorial e, no final, questionar a legitimidade dos portos em declínio para continuar a exercer autoridade sobre o desenvolvimento territorial.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this article is to describe the process of maritimization using the concept of the sociotechnical trajectory of the Bay of Pasaia since the XVI century, date from which cartography is available, up to the present time thanks to the development of geographic information systems (GIS), which allow locating places with precision, by means of maps prepared from existing historical cartographic and documentary sources on the matter. In this exercise, it is proposed to distinguish the events of the ruptures in order to produce a geohistorical synthesis through the elaboration of maps whose purpose is to study the port footprint in a territory over time. The methodology used observation, through the old maps, of the different stages of change and mutation of the city-port relationship and measurement of this process in its spatial dimension. This approach questions the role of a port in the process of territorial construction and, ultimately, allows us to question the legitimacy of decreasing ports to retain a form of authority in terms of territorial development.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé L`objectif de cet article est de décrire le processus de maritimisation en utilisant le concept de trajectoire sociotechnique de la baie de Pasaia à partir du XVI siècle, date à partir de laquelle la cartographie est disponible jusqu&#8217;à présent grâce au développement des systèmes d&#8217;information géographique (SIG); ceux-ci permettent de localiser des lieux avec précision, à l&#8217;aide de cartes préparées à partir de sources cartographiques et documentaires historiques de la matière. Dans cet exercice, il est proposé de distinguer les événements des ruptures afin de produire une synthèse géohistorique à travers l&#8217;élaboration de cartes ayant pour but d&#8217;étudier l&#8217;empreinte portuaire d&#8217;un territoire dans le temps. La méthodologie a utilisé l&#8217;observation, à travers les anciennes cartes, des différentes étapes du changement et de la mutation de la relation ville-port et la mesure de ce processus dans sa dimension spatiale. Cette approche interroge le rôle d&#8217;un port dans le processus de développement territorial et, finalement, permet de questionner la légitimité des ports en décadence à conserver une forme d&#8217;autorité en matière de développement territorial.]]></p></abstract>
