Abstract. The author establishes growth, regeneration, and survival indices for tree species, grounded upon the sensitivity of the dominant vector of the Leslie model of the aged-structured population of the species. He applies the indices to European and North American species and he evaluates its performance.

O autor estabelece índices de crescimento, regeneração e sobrevivência para espécies arbóreas, a partir da sensibilidade do valor próprio dominante da matriz de Leslie, da população etariamente estruturada. Résumé. L'auteur établi des index de croissance, régénération et survivance pour les espèces des arbres, qui se basent sur la sensibilité de la valeur propre dominante de la matrice de Leslie, pour les populations structurées en classes d'âge. Il applique les index à des espèces européennes et américaines et évalue ses comportements.
