RESUMO
Este artigo apresenta uma metodologia de Reabilitação na Comunidade (RC) («Community Based Rehabilitation») integrado com os cuidados de saúde primários (CSP) dessa comunidade e com base numa metodologia de Desenvolvimento Comunitário Integrado (DCI).
De acordo com esta metodologia os profissionais de reabilitação e os serviços a que estão associados deverão funcionar como apoio a instituições mobilizadoras dos membros da comunidade (associações voluntárias), de forma a assegurar a participação activa dessa comunidade na resolução dos seus próprios problemas.

]]> ABSTRACT
This article presents a community based rehabilitation methodology within the Primary Health Care. With a participatory and comprehensive approad in the community itself. According with this methology the rehabilitation workers and other support organizations must work together in order to support and solve the problems within the community.
