La estructura factorial de este instrumento está definida por cinco escalas que aglutinan un total de 55 items: control del estrés, influencia de la evaluación del rendimiento, motivación, habilidad mental y cohesión de equipo. El proceso seguido para la elaboración del cuestionario CPRD y la consistencia interna de conjunto total de items (coeficiente alfa de Cronbach = 0,85) permiten considerar este instrumento útil, interactuando con la información procedente de otros procedimientos de evaluación, para ayudar al psicólogo deportivo en la detección de necesidades y recursos, el planteamiento de hipótesis explicativas, la realización de análisis funcionales, la toma de decisión sobre los objetivos de la intervención y la observación del progreso de los deportistas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The purpose of this paper is to describe the psychometric characteristics of the «Características Psicológicas Relacionadas con el Rendimiento Deportivo» (Psychological Characteristics Related to Sport Performace) questionnaire (CPRD). The factorial structure of this instrument shows five scales including a total number of 55 items. The scales are: Stress Control, Influence of Performance Evaluation, Motivation, Mental Skills and Team Cohesion. The process followed to develop the questionnaire, and the coeficient of internal consistency (Cronbach alfa 0,85) suggest that this instrument is a useful tool for the sport psychologist within the context of psychological assessment, providing relevant information about the needs and the resources of the athletes, to establish hypotheses, to develop a functional analysis, to make decisions about the intervention, and to observe the progress at follow-ups.]]></p></abstract>

La estructura factorial de este instrumento est&aacute; definida por cinco escalas que aglutinan un total de 55 items: control del estr&eacute;s, influencia de la evaluaci&oacute;n del rendimiento, motivaci&oacute;n, habilidad mental y cohesi&oacute;n de equipo.
