O questionário de 50 itens foi passado a uma amostra de 98 mulheres trabalhadoras, 49% com idade inferior a 30 anos, 77,8% casadas, e com uma escolaridade acima da média da população Portuguesa. A versão encontrada depois da tradução e da discussão de consenso mostrou-se, relativamente às propriedades psicométricas, semelhante à original, impondo somente a retirada de dois itens. A conclusão vai de encontro ao que é proposto pela maioria dos investigadores, ou seja, que este questionário tende a ser dependente das características do respondente, da situação e da transacção. Tal leva forçosamente ao aparecimento de um novo questionário.]]></p></abstract>

The Portuguese version adopted after translation and a consensus format of the items, lost two items, conserving 48 of the original items. Psychometric properties are similar to the Ways of Coping Questionnaire. The problems to the Portuguese version are similar to the problems of the original version. We can say that is better, like Edwards and O'Neill (1998) suggestion that users of the WCQ should develop their own scales.]]></p></abstract>

O question&aacute;rio de 50 itens foi passado a uma amostra de    98 mulheres trabalhadoras, 49% com idade inferior a 30 anos, 77,8% casadas,    e com uma escolaridade acima da m&eacute;dia da popula&ccedil;&atilde;o Portuguesa.    A vers&atilde;o encontrada depois da tradu&ccedil;&atilde;o e da discuss&atilde;o    de consenso mostrou-se, relativamente &agrave;s propriedades psicom&eacute;tricas,    semelhante &agrave; original, impondo somente a retirada de dois itens.
