RESUMO
A doação de ovócitos como técnica de reprodução medicamente assistida permite ultrapassar a maior parte das situações de infertilidade de factor feminino. A principal fonte de ovócitos é constituída por mulheres presumivelmente fertéis, que de forma anónima se dispõem a entrar neste processo.
Saber quem são estas mulheres e o que a parca investigação realizada nos diz sobre o assunto é o objectivo desta revisão de literatura.

ABSTRACT
The oocyte as medically assisted reproduction overcomes most of the female factor infertility situations. The main oocyte is constituted by women presumably fertile who are willing to enter anonymously in this process.
In this revision of the “state of the art” we presented some research about this woman and her personality.
