O modelo teórico surgiu ele próprio de um vaivém dialéctico entre a prática clínica e a reflexão sobre essa prática, à luz dos modelos do desenvolvimento de vários autores psicodinâmicos. Reflexão que nos permitiu encontrar comunalidades e complementaridades entre esses modelos, apesar da utilização de terminologias diferentes pelos seus autores. O modelo teórico elaborado serviu de quadro de leitura a uma investigação empírica que permitiu consubstanciar a sua pertinência. A partir deste modelo propõe-se um modelo de intervenção que se inscreve num quadro de terapia breve psicodinâmica, o qual será explanado resumidamente e ilustrado com um caso clínico. São discutidas as vantagens e os limites deste modelo de intervenção.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The aim of this paper is to propose both a theoretical model of the psychological development, which we believe allows to understand the majority of the difficulties young people in higher education bring to counselling, and an intervention model in individual counselling arising from it. The theoretical model has come out from a dialectic reciprocal movement between clinical practice and reflection about that practice, in the light of several psychodynamic authors' developmental models. This reflection has allowed us to find commonalities and complementarities between those models, in spite of the use of different terminologies. The proposed theoretical model has been used as a template for empirical research, whose results allowed us to consolidate its suitability. From this model an intervention strategy, inscribed in brief psychodynamic therapies, is put forward. The intervention model will be illustrated with a clinical case, and its advantages and limitations discussed.]]></p></abstract>

O modelo te&oacute;rico surgiu ele pr&oacute;prio de um vaiv&eacute;m dial&eacute;ctico    entre a pr&aacute;tica cl&iacute;nica e a reflex&atilde;o sobre essa pr&aacute;tica,    &agrave; luz dos modelos do desenvolvimento de v&aacute;rios autores psicodin&acirc;micos.    Reflex&atilde;o que nos permitiu encontrar comunalidades e complementaridades    entre esses modelos, apesar da utiliza&ccedil;&atilde;o de terminologias diferentes    pelos seus autores.
