<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.pt/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0871-018X2020000600081&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.pt/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0871-018X2020000600081&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.pt/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0871-018X2020000600081&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O conhecimento da biodiversidade de artrópodes presentes nas culturas, em termos das funções que desempenham (fitófagos, predadores, parasitoides, detritívoros, entre outros) e das relações existentes entre si é fundamental numa perspetiva de conservação da fauna auxiliar, de promoção da proteção biológica contra as principais pragas e de manutenção da cultura em bom estado fitossanitário. No caso da amendoeira, o conhecimento acerca da biologia das pragas-chave, a sua dinâmica populacional e os predadores e parasitoides associados é ainda escasso em Portugal. Assim, este trabalho teve por objetivo conhecer a diversidade e a abundância dos principais grupos funcionais de artrópodes associados à copa do amendoal e as suas flutuações ao longo do tempo. Nesse sentido, em dois anos consecutivos (2018 e2019) entre abril e início de outubro, com periodicidade semanal, realizou-se a técnica das pancadas em 25 árvores selecionadas aleatoriamente num amendoal localizado em Alfandega da Fé. O material colhido foi separado e os artrópodes existentes contados e identificados ao mais baixo nível taxonómico possível. No total foram capturados 11 809 artrópodes, que se distribuíram em oito ordens diferentes. Os hemípteros fitófagos foram os indivíduos mais abundantes ao longo da amostragem. Relativamente aos auxiliares predadores, por ordem de importância relativa, surgiram as aranhas, os coccinelídeos e as formigas, nos dois anos de estudo. Os himenópteros parasitoides representaram 11% e 15% do total de auxiliares, respetivamente em 2018 e 2019. Verificou-se ainda que a maior abundância de aranhas foi coincidente com a maior ocorrência dos hemípteros fitófagos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The knowledge of the diversity of arthropods in the crops (phytophagous, predators, parasitoids, detritivores, and others) and the relations between them are fundamental in a perspective of conservation of the beneficial insects, to promote biological protection against the main pests and maintain the crop in good phytosanitary condition. The knowledge about pest bioecology, population dynamics, predators and associated parasitoids in almond orchards are still scarce in Portugal. Thus, this work aimed to understand the diversity and abundance of the main functional groups of arthropods associated with the canopy of the almond tree and their fluctuations over time. To fulfill the objective, between April and early October of 2018 and 2019, weekly, the beating technique was performed. selecting randomly 25 trees from an almond tree orchard located in Alfândega da Fé. The harvested material was separated, and arthropods counted and identified at the lowest possible taxonomic level (order, family, genus, or species). In total, 11,809 arthropods were captured, that were distributed in 8 different orders. Phytophagous Hemiptera were the most abundant individuals throughout the sampling and the auxiliaries, spiders, coccinellids, and ants were the most abundant in 2018 and 2019. Parasitoid hymenopterans were also detected in the two years of sampling. It was found that the spiders followed the peaks of the occurrence of phytophagous Hemiptera. Phytophagous Hemiptera were the most abundant individuals throughout the sampling. Concerning the auxiliary fauna, in order of relative importance, spiders, coccinellids, and ants appeared in the two years of study. The parasitoid Hymenoptera represented 11% and 15% of the total auxiliaries, respectively in 2018 and 2019. It was also found that the greater abundance of spiders coincided with the greater occurrence of phytophagous Hemiptera.]]></p></abstract>
