A investigação consistiu na realização de entrevistas biográficas, com oito adultos não escolarizados, em Portugal. Partiu-se do pressuposto de que os adultos não escolarizados têm saberes, adquiridos ao longo da vida, através da experiência, que podem ser explicitados e socializados, com a entrevista biográfica. A investigação permitiu compreender a importância da formação experiencial na vida dos adultos não escolarizados e do uso da entrevista biográfica para aceder aos seus percursos de vida e saberes. A relação gerada no momento da entrevista biográfica revelou-se específica e complexa, colocando a investigadora face a dificuldades e a desafios. Verificou-se que a tomada de consciência da especificidade e da complexidade da relação investigador-sujeitos participantes na entrevista biográfica são essenciais para o investigador superar as dificuldades e os desafios, assim como para assegurar a coconstrução do conhecimento científico, a partir de relações humanas significativas. Os elementos apresentados revelam a dimensão formativa da investigação biográfica para a investigadora.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract We analyze the relationship between the researcher and the participants involved in research. The text aims to analyze the methodological dimension resulting from a biographical research, centered on the process of learning of unschooled adults. We developed one biographical research, through biographical interviews, with eight unschooled adults, in Portugal. In this research, we had the assumption that unschooled adults have knowledge, resulting from experience, acquired throughout their life. That experience can be described and socialized through the biographical interview. The research allowed us to understand the importance of experiential learning in the lives of unschooled adults and the use of biographical interviews to access their life paths and knowledge. The relationship generated in the biographical interview proved to be specific and complex, placing the researcher in the face of difficulties and challenges. We can conclude that the researcher should be aware of the specificity and complexity of the relationship in the biographical interview. That is essential for the researcher to overcome difficulties and challenges, as well as to ensure the co-construction of scientific knowledge, based on a significant human relationship. This text reveals the formative dimension of the biographical research for the researcher.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este texto busca analizar la relación entre el investigador y lo sujeto participante en la investigación biográfica. Este análisis resulta de una investigación biográfica centrada en el proceso de formación de adultos no escolarizados, en Portugal, realizada mediante entrevistas biográficas, con ocho adultos no escolarizados. La investigación se basó en el presupuesto de que los adultos no escolarizados tienen conocimiento, resultante de la experiencia adquirida a lo largo de su vida, que pueden explicitar y socializar, a través de la entrevista biográfica. La investigación permitió comprender la importancia de la formación experiencial en los adultos no escolarizados y el uso de entrevistas biográficas para acceder à su vida y conocimientos. La relación generada en el momento de la entrevista biográfica es específica y compleja, colocando al investigador frente a dificultades y desafíos. Para el investigador, tomar conciencia de la especificidad y complexidad de esta relación es esencial, como una forma de superar las dificultades y los desafíos, así como para garantizar la construcción conjunta del conocimiento científico, a partir de relaciones humanas significativas. Estos elementos, resultantes de un análisis de los procedimientos metodológicos de la entrevista biográfica, revelan la dimensión formativa de la investigación biográfica para la investigadora.]]></p></abstract>
