Participaram 273 estudantes universitários (Bacharelado n=150; Licenciatura n=123) de uma universidade pública de Santa Catarina (Brasil). Aplicou-se a versão adaptada do Questionário de Avaliação do Ambiente Percebido da Formação Inicial em Educação Física. Realizou-se regressão logística binária para verificar a associação entre as variáveis. Os resultados revelaram que os licenciandos perceberam maior ocorrência de discussões em grupo (OR=2,07), seminários teóricos (OR=1,72), aprendizagem pela prática e desenvolvimento de atitudes reflexivas (OR=1,70) do que os bacharelandos. O ambiente de formação inicial percebido foi similar entre os cursos, mas os licenciandos perceberam mais oportunidades de participação e reflexão.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The aim was to investigate the environment perceived by Physical Education undergraduate students. The study included 273 university students (bachelor n=150; pre-service teachers n=123) in Physical Education from a public university of Santa Catarina state (Brazil). The adapted version of the Questionnaire for Assessment of the Physical Education Initial Training Learning Environment was applied. Binary logistic regression was employed to verify the association between the variables. Pre-service teachers perceived a higher occurrence of group discussions (OR=2.07), theoretical seminars (OR=1.72), learning by doing and developing a reflective attitude (OR=1.70) than bachelor students. The environment was similar in both courses, but pre-service teachers perceived more opportunities for participation and reflection.]]></p></abstract>

Se aplicó la versión adaptada del Cuestionario de Evaluación del Entorno Percibido de la Formación Inicial en Educación Física. Se empleó la regresión logística binaria para verificar la asociación entre las variables. Los estudiantes universitarios de licenciatura perciben una mayor ocurrencia de discusiones grupales (OR = 2.07), seminarios teóricos (OR = 1.72) y aprender haciendo y desarrollando una actitud reflexiva (OR = 1.70) que los estudiantes del bachillerato.
