O contexto pandémico relativo à Covid-19 implicou adaptações significativas nas práticas religiosas e nas relações dos crentes com o território, uma vez que num contexto de confinamento obrigatório, quebram-se parte das relações entre os membros das comunidades de pertença, mas também com os lugares sagrados e de culto. Nas várias dimensões da vida quotidiana, verifica-se uma reorganização das redes de sociabilidade e dos fluxos de várias naturezas. Neste artigo, a partir de dois inquéritos realizados em Coimbra (2014 e 2021), procura-se mostrar alguns traços que caracterizam a multiterritorialidade das comunidades católicas em contexto urbano, analisando o seu comportamento na cidade e perspetivando, ao mesmo tempo, a sua adaptabilidade à situação pandémica atual. Conclui-se que a pandemia acelerou o recurso a ferramentas digitais que constroem novas territorialidades na experiência religiosa, desfasadas do espaço físico convencional, mas apresentando marcas de multiterritorialidade topoligâmica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The communities of belonging, particularly those based on religion, define the identity of the territories, as they leave very firm marks on the way they live, use, appropriate or represent the places. The pandemic context related to Covid-19 implied significant adaptations in religious practices and in the relationships of believers with the territory, since in a context of mandatory confinement, part of the relationships between members of the communities to which they belong and also the relation with their sacred and worship places are broken. In the various dimensions of daily life, there is a reorganization of sociability networks and flows of various natures. In this article, based on two surveys in Coimbra (2014 and 2021), we seek to show some of the traits that characterize the multiterritoriality of Catholic communities in an urban context, analysing their behaviour in the city and, at the same time, looking at their adaptability to the current pandemic situation. We conclude that the pandemic has accelerated the use of digital tools that construct new territorialities in the religious experience, detached from the conventional physical space but showing marks of topoligamic multi-territoriality.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[RESUMÉ Les communautés d'appartenance, en particulier celles fondées par la religion, définissent l'identité des territoires, car elles laissent des marques très fermes dans la façon dont elles vivent, utilisent, s'approprient ou représentent les lieux. Le contexte pandémique concernant Covid-19 a impliqué des adaptations importantes dans les pratiques religieuses et dans les relations des croyants avec le territoire, puisque dans un contexte d'enfermement obligatoire, une partie des relations entre les membres des communautés d'appartenance, mais aussi avec les lieux sacrés et de culte, sont rompues. Dans les différentes dimensions de la vie quotidienne, on assiste à une réorganisation des réseaux de sociabilité et des flux de différentes natures. Dans cet article, basé sur deux enquêtes réalisées à Coimbra (2014 et 2021), nous essayons de montrer quelques traits qui caractérisent la multiterritorialité des communautés catholiques dans un contexte urbain, en analysant leur comportement dans la ville et, en même temps, en envisageant leur adaptabilité à la situation pandémique actuelle. <abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Las comunidades de pertenencia, particularmente las basadas en la religión, definen la identidad de los territorios, ya que dejan huellas muy firmes en la forma en que viven, usan, se apropian o representan los lugares. El contexto pandémico relacionado concom Covid-19 implicó adaptaciones significativas en las prácticas religiosas y en las relaciones de los creyentes con el territorio, ya que, en un contexto de encierro obligatorio, parte de las relaciones entre los miembros de las comunidades a las que pertenecen y también con los lugares sagrados y de adoración, se rompen. En las diversas dimensiones de la vida cotidiana se produce una reorganización de las redes de sociabilidad y flujos de diversa índole. En este artículo, a partir de dos encuestas realizadas en Coimbra, buscamos mostrar algunos de los rasgos que caracterizan la multiterritorialidad de las comunidades católicas en un contexto urbano, analizando su comportamiento en la ciudad y, al mismo tiempo, mirando su adaptabilidad a la situación actual de la pandemia. Se concluye que la pandemia aceleró el uso de herramientas digitales que construyen nuevas territorialidades en la experiencia religiosa, fuera del espacio físico convencional pero presentando marcas de multiterritorialidad topoligámica.]]></p></abstract>
