Objetivos:  O presente estudo pretende aferir a perceção dos treinadores da Associação de Andebol de Viseu acerca da importância dos jogos condicionados e reduzidos, frequência de utilização, variantes utilizadas e motivo de utilização, no treino do Andebol.  Métodos:  O grupo de estudo foi composto por 35 treinadores, com efetiva participação em processo de treino e competição. Os instrumentos de pesquisa utilizados foram entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas, organizadas a partir de um conjunto de questões fundamentadas nas três dimensões de análise indicadas.  Resultados:  Os jogos reduzidos e condicionados permitem desenvolver a tomada de decisão, adequando-a ao modelo de jogo da equipa, assim como possibilitam desenvolver e transferir um conjunto de princípios necessários ao desempenho em competição.  Conclusão:  Os jogos reduzidos e condicionados devem ser geridos de forma diversificada e dependentes do objetivo final do treinador, pois condições de tarefa específicas (duração, número de jogadores, modificação das regras) promovem diferentes respostas em termos de carga física, técnica, tática e de tomada de decisão aplicada, emergindo daí a necessidade em periodizar adequadamente o processo de treino.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Introduction: Collective Sports Games are strongly present in the lives of children and young people, as they represent a privileged form of their physical and sports development.  Objectives:  This study aims to assess the perception of Viseu Handball Association coaches about the importance of conditioned and reduced games, frequency of use, used variants and reason for use, in Handball teaching/training.  Methods:  The study group was composed of 35 coaches, with effective participation in the training and competition process. The research instruments used were semi-structured individual interviews, organized from a set of questions based on the three dimensions of analysis already indicated.  Results:  Reduced and conditioned games allow the development of decision making, adapting it to the team's game model, as well as making it possible to develop and transfer a set of necessary principles for performance in competition.  Conclusion:  Reduced and conditioned games must be managed in a diversified manner and depending on the coach's final objective, as specific task conditions (duration, number of players, rules modification) promote different responses in terms of physical, technical, tactical and applied decision making, emerging the need to properly periodize the training process.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Introducción:  La riqueza de contenidos que contienen los Juegos Deportivos Colectivos, les permite estar fuertemente presentes en la vida de los niños y jóvenes, ya que representan una forma privilegiada de su desarrollo físico y deportivo.  Objetivos:  Este estudio tiene como objetivos evaluar la percepción de los entrenadores de la Asociación de Balonmano de Viseu sobre la importancia de los juegos condicionados y reducidos, la frecuencia de uso, las variantes utilizadas y el motivo de uso, en la enseñanza/entrenamiento del Balonmano.  Métodos:  El grupo de estudio estuvo compuesto por 35 entrenadores, con participación efectiva en el proceso de entrenamiento y competición. Los instrumentos de investigación utilizados fueron entrevistas individuales semiestructuradas, organizadas a partir de un conjunto de preguntas en base a las tres dimensiones de análisis señaladas.  Resultados:  Los juegos reducidos y condicionados permiten el desarrollo de la toma de decisiones, adaptándola al modelo de juego del equipo, además de posibilitar desarrollar y transferir un conjunto de principios necesarios para el desempeño en competición.  Conclusión:  Los juegos reducidos y condicionados deben gestionarse de manera diversificada y en función del objetivo final del entrenador, ya que las condiciones específicas de la tarea (duración, número de jugadores, modificación de las reglas) promueven diferentes respuestas en términos de toma de decisiones físicas, técnicas, tácticas y aplicadas, emergentes de la necesidad de periodizar adecuadamente el proceso de formación.]]></p></abstract>
