Estas teorías de juego basadas en las ciencias sociales que aquí se analizan, presentan reformulaciones a la clásica teoría de juego en matemática aplicada (CGT). Estas teorías ofrecen un importante avance a la teoría clásica de juego, gracias a la aplicación de conceptos centrales en sociología y psicología social, así como los resultados de análisis empíricos sobre comportamientos individuales y colectivos. Estas dos teorías que emergen en las ciencias sociales son, la primera, basada en la teoría de sistemas, la teoría de juego en ciencia social (SGT - social science game theory); la otra, es la teoría interaccionista de Erwing Goffman con base en la psicología social (IGT - interactionist Goffman theory). Cada una de éstas, ambas enfocadas en el análisis de juego social, son presentadas y contrastadas con la teoría clásica de juego, poniendo de relieve la centralidad de las reglas sociales en la estructuración y regulación del comportamiento humano, y la necesidad de incluir éstas en todo análisis.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este artigo apresenta duas teorias sociológicas, alternativas à teoria dos jogos clássica. Estas teorias dos jogos baseadas nas ciências sociais aqui analisadas apresentam reformulações da teoria dos jogos clássica em matemática aplicada (CGT). Estas teorias oferecem um importante avanço à teoria dos jogos clássica, graças à aplicação de conceitos centrais em sociologia e psicologia social, bem como aos resultados de análises empíricas sobre comportamentos individuais e coletivos. Estas duas teorias emergentes nas ciências sociais são, a primeira, baseada na teoria dos sistemas, a teoria dos jogos em ciências sociais (SGT - social science game theory); a outra é a teoria interacionista de Erwing Goffman com base na psicologia social (IGT - interactionist Goffman theory). Cada uma destas teorias, ambas centradas na análise dos jogos sociais, são apresentadas e contrastadas com a teoria dos jogos clássica, salientando a centralidade das regras sociais na estruturação e regulação do comportamento humano, e a necessidade de as incluir em qualquer análise.]]></p></abstract>

These social science-based game theories discussed here present reformulations of classical game theory in applied mathematics (CGT). These theories offer an important advance to classical game theory, thanks to the application of central concepts in sociology and social psychology, as well as the results of empirical analyses of individual and collective behaviour. These two theories emerging in the social sciences are, the first, based on systems theory, is social science game theory (SGT); the other is Erwing Goffman&#8217;s interactionist theory (IGT) based on social psychology. Each of these theories, both focused on the analysis of social games, are presented and contrasted with classical game theory, highlighting the centrality of social rules in structuring and regulating human behaviour, and the need to include them in any analysis.]]></p></abstract>
