Para ilustrar as suas dinâmicas e fragilidades serão analisadas as principais transformações no mundo da arte e nos contextos dos seus agentes a partir das representações de 45 músicos a quem foram aplicadas entrevistas compreensivas. Mostramos que a consolidação deste mundo é um processo ambivalente e ambíguo, devido a processos de evolução desnivelados entre os seus agentes, o que resulta na necessidade de um desdobramento em multipapéis por parte dos músicos e na prevalência de desigualdades e competição pelos recursos disponíveis.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract We analyse the recent consolidation of the jazz art world in Portugal. We examine the main changes in the art worlds and its agents on the basis of opinions gathered from comprehensive interviews with 45 musicians, in which they talked about their dynamics and vulnerabilities. We show that the consolidation of this world is an ambiguous, ambivalent process. This is due to uneven progression among the different agents, which results in the need for multitasking on the part of musicians and prevalence of inequality and competition for the available resources.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Nous avons analysé le récent processus de consolidation du monde de l&#8217;art du jazz au Portugal. Afin d&#8217;illustrer ses dynamiques et ses fragilités, l&#8217;article analyse les principales transformations opérées dans le monde de l&#8217;art et dans les contextes de ses agents à partir des représentations de 45 musiciens au travers d&#8217;entretiens compréhensifs. Nous avons pu montrer que la consolidation de ce monde est un processus ambivalent et ambigu à cause de processus d&#8217;évolution décalés entre ses agents, ce qui entraîne la nécessité d&#8217;un dédoublement en rôles pluriels de la part des musiciens et la persistance d&#8217;inégalités et de compétition pour obtenir les ressources disponibles.]]></p></abstract>
