Trata-se de um texto (e de um pretexto) ideal para explorar os termos e os repertórios dos debates que existiam e que ressurgem em torno da ligação entre o significado do sexo e, enquanto manifestação de liberdade e de violência, a sua constituição como objecto de regulação normativa. Este exercício apoia-se em três eixos de problematização: as disputas sobre a concepção da sexualidade, a sua influência na relação entre autonomia e consentimento, e o papel do direito como meio de regulação-reparação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper stems from a review of The New Sex Wars by Brenda Cossman to discuss, more broadly, the central argument of the book: the mobilisation around #MeToo constituted the trigger for the sex wars 2.0. This is an ideal text (and pretext) for exploring the terms and repertoires of the debates that existed and that are resurfacing around the connection between the meaning of sex and, as a manifestation of liberation and violence, its constitution as an object of normative regulation. This exercise is based on three axes of problematisation: disputes over the conception of sexuality, its influence on the relation between autonomy and consent, and the role of law as a means of regulation-reparation.]]></p></abstract>
