Apesar de algumas investigações procurarem analisar esta relação, está ainda pouco claro o processo que caracteriza a vivência emocional deste tipo de doentes. Neste trabalho é descrita a construção do Questionário de Avaliação das Emoções para a Anorexia Nervosa (QAE-AN). Este instrumento foi elaborado com base na Teoria Diferencial das Emoções reformulada por Izard (1991) e na caracterização detalhada das emoções primárias nela reconhecidas (interesse, alegria, surpresa, cólera, nojo, desprezo, medo, angústia, vergonha, tristeza e culpa). Esta medida de avaliação faz referência a situações, comportamentos e pensamentos comuns na anorexia nervosa e como tal poderá contribuir para uma avaliação mais adequada das emoções experienciadas por este tipo de doentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Studies that analyse the relationship between anorexia nervosa and alexithymia suggest a relation between them, pointing out the frequent presence of alexithymic diagnosis in anorectics' subjects. Despite the existence of some investigations around this relation, it's still unclear the anorectic's emotional process. In this article a construction of the Emotional Assessment Questionnaire for Anorexia Nervosa (QAE-AN) is described. The Emotions Differential Theory reformulated by Izard (1991) and its primary emotions detailed characterization (interest, joy, surprise, anguish, anger, disgust, contempt, fear, shame, sadness and guilty), were the support of this measure. It includes common anorexia nervosa situations, behaviors and thoughts, contributing to an adequate assessment of the emotions felt by these patients.]]></p></abstract>
