Participaram no estudo 56 mulheres sem história de doença oncológica pertencentes à população geral, 32 mulheres recentemente diagnosticadas com cancro da mama e 58 sobreviventes de cancro da mama. Foram utilizados os seguintes instrumentos de avaliação: o WHOQOL-Bref, a HADS e uma ficha de dados clínicos e sociodemográficos. As mulheres recentemente diagnosticadas com cancro da mama apresentaramse mais ansiosas e exibiram os piores resultados no domínio físico e na faceta geral da QdV. A maioria das sobreviventes apresentou níveis normativos de ansiedade e de depressão e uma boa QdV, não se distinguindo da população geral em nenhum domínio da mesma.]]></p></abstract>
