Il a su garder le contrôle sur le gros du territoire. Il a su maintenir et, finalement, renforcer un lien avec une bonne part des populations affectées. Il a su reprendre la main sur une réponse sécuritaire d&#8217;abord très brutale. De façon asymptotique, la situation de « ni guerre ni paix » qui prévaut dans la région semble aller de plus en plus vers la paix, sans jamais l&#8217;atteindre tout à fait. Une comparaison avec le conflit qui oppose l&#8217;État nigérian au mouvement djihadiste Boko Haram permettra de mieux analyser certains des facteurs fondamentaux de cette résilience de l&#8217;État sénégalais en Casamance.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo A longo prazo, e não sem contratempos, o Estado senegalês tem mostrado uma resiliência e adaptabilidade significativas face aos protestos separatistas em Casamansa. Conseguiu manter o controlo sobre a maior parte do território. Conseguiu manter e, em última análise, reforçar a ligação com uma grande parte das populações afetadas. Conseguiu recuperar o controlo de uma resposta securitária que foi, no início, brutal. Assintoticamente, a situação de &#8220;nem guerra nem paz&#8221; que prevalece na região parece estar a mover-se cada vez mais para a paz, sem nunca chegar a ela. Uma comparação com o conflito entre o Estado nigeriano e o movimento jihadista Boko Haram permitir-nos-á analisar melhor alguns dos fatores fundamentais desta resiliência do Estado senegalês em Casamansa.]]></p></abstract>
