Reconhecendo que no sistema de negócios da indústria automóvel existem vários sectores que merecem análise, neste estudo de caso procede-se a um diagnóstico detalhado da situação actual e futura da distribuição automóvel na Europa. Na interpretação dos dados recolhidos em diferentes fontes documentais, utilizou-se um enquadramento conceptual vasto que envolve contributos da estratégia, marketing e economia industrial e da empresa. Na análise do sector discute-se a sua estrutura, dinâmica e crescimento, concorrência, e relações interempresariais de natureza horizontal e relações verticais no seio do sector da distribuição automóvel. Identifica-se ainda o processo de mudança em curso e discutem-se as implicações dessas mudanças para o sector.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This study discusses the ongoing changes in the European automotive distribution driven by its current regulation. It recognises that the automotive business system comprises several sectors that deserve analysis and carries out a case study with a detailed diagnosis of the current and future state of the automotive distribution in Europe. In interpreting data collected from several documental sources, the study applies a broad conceptual framework that comprises contributions from the strategy, marketing and industrial economics literatures. In this analysis we discuss the structure, dynamics and growth, competition and horizontal inter organisational relationships and vertical relationships within the automotive distribution sector. It also identifies the ongoing changing process and discusses the implications of those changes for the sector.]]></p></abstract>

Reconociendo que en el sistema de negocio de la industria de la automoción existen varios sectores que merecen un analice, en este estudio de caso procedemos a un diagnostico detallado de la situación actual y futura en la distribución automóvil en Europa. En la interpretación de los datos obtenidos en diferentes fuentes documentales, será usado un cuadro conceptual vasto que implica contribuciones de la estrategia, marketing y economía industrial y de la empresa. En el analice del sector se discute su estructura, dinámica y crecimiento, competencia, y relaciones inter-empresariales de naturaleza horizontal y relaciones verticales en el seno del sector de distribución automóvil. También se puede identificar el proceso de cambio en curso y se discuten las implicaciones de ese cambio para el sector.]]></p></abstract>

Reconhecendo que no sistema de neg&oacute;cios    da ind&uacute;stria autom&oacute;vel existem v&aacute;rios sectores que merecem    an&aacute;lise, neste estudo de caso procede-se a um diagn&oacute;stico detalhado    da situa&ccedil;&atilde;o actual e futura da distribui&ccedil;&atilde;o autom&oacute;vel    na Europa. Na interpreta&ccedil;&atilde;o dos dados recolhidos em diferentes    fontes documentais, utilizou-se um enquadramento conceptual vasto que envolve    contributos da estrat&eacute;gia, marketing e economia industrial e da empresa.
