Entretanto, os modelos e conceitos produzidos no mundo anglo-americano têm privilegiado apenas a legitimação da autoridade do estrategista da grande empresa. Ao problematizar os fundamentos do conhecimento produzido pela área de estratégia, especialmente a oriunda dos EUA, o objetivo deste ensaio é mostrar como e porque os conceitos de autoridade e legitimidade são importantes para estrategistas e acadêmicos no mundo luso-brasileiro na era da globalização. Este ensaio argumenta que é necessário redescobrir e legitimar na era da globalizaçãoos diferentes tipos de estrategistas que protagonizam os mercados no mundo luso-brasileiro.]]></p></abstract>

However, frameworks and concepts produced in the Anglo-American world have privileged only the authority of the big company’s strategist. By discussing the underpinnings of the academic knowledge produced by the field of strategy, especially from US, this essay shows how and why the concepts of authority and legitimacy are important to strategists and academics in the Portuguese-Brazilian world in the era of globalization. This essay claims for the rediscovery and legitimacy of different types of strategists that have central influence on markets in the Portuguese-Brazilian world.]]></p></abstract>
