Do Modelo Maternal ao Modelo Profissional</B></P>      <p><B>Orienta&ccedil;&atilde;o:</B> Professor Doutor Ant&oacute;nio Teodoro</P>      <p>&nbsp;</p>      <p>Pensamos com este nosso trabalho de investiga&ccedil;&atilde;o contribuir para o estudo da forma&ccedil;&atilde;o  inicial dos professores do ensino prim&aacute;rio/professores do 1.&ordm; ciclo do ensino b&aacute;sico (1942-2000),  tomando como eixo a evolu&ccedil;&atilde;o dos conceitos educa&ccedil;&atilde;o, professor, aprendizagem, sintetizados  no modelo maternal, em que a professora governava a sua classe como a m&atilde;e a sua fam&iacute;lia e no modelo  profissional que faz do professor um expert e insiste na sua compet&ecirc;ncia, quer a n&iacute;vel dos saberes, quer  a n&iacute;vel das t&eacute;cnicas pedag&oacute;gicas.</P>     <p>Escolhemos como referente inicial do nosso estudo o ano de 1942, data em que, pelo decreto-lei n.&ordm; 32 243 de 5  de Setembro de 1942, s&atilde;o reabertas as Escolas do Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio em Lisboa, Porto, Coimbra e  Braga.</P>     <p>Escolhemos como referente final do nosso estudo o ano de 2000, fecho de s&eacute;culo e mil&eacute;nio que, na  forma&ccedil;&atilde;o inicial de professores, inseriu os primeiros professores do 1.&ordm; ciclo do ensino b&aacute;sico  com licenciatura (decreto-lei n.&ordm; 115, de 19 de Setembro de 1997).</P>     ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p>No percurso da forma&ccedil;&atilde;o inicial dos professores do Ensino Prim&aacute;rio, da reabertura das Escolas do  Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio (1942), &agrave; institui&ccedil;&atilde;o das Escolas Superiores de Educa&ccedil;&atilde;o  (1986), &agrave; promulga&ccedil;&atilde;o do Estatuto da Carreira Docente (1990), &agrave; exig&ecirc;ncia do grau de  licenciatura na forma&ccedil;&atilde;o inicial dos professores do 1.&ordm; ciclo (1997) questionamos:</P>     <p>&ndash; Que conceitos de educa&ccedil;&atilde;o, professor e aprendizagem est&atilde;o presentes na forma&ccedil;&atilde;o  inicial realizada em Escolas do Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio e Escolas Superiores de Educa&ccedil;&atilde;o?</P>     <p>&ndash; Que transforma&ccedil;&otilde;es sofrem estes conceitos com a adop&ccedil;&atilde;o de novos modelos de  forma&ccedil;&atilde;o inicial experimentados a partir da Revolu&ccedil;&atilde;o Portuguesa de 25 de Abril de 1974?</P>      <p>&nbsp;</p>      <p><I>This work of investigation aims to contribute to the study of the initial formation of elementary  school teachers  (professores do Ensino Prim&aacute;rio) / 1st cycle teachers (professores do 1.&ordm; Ciclo  do Ensino B&aacute;sico) between 1942 and 2000). The present study is centered on the evolution of the  following concepts : education, teacher, apprenticeship, summarized in the maternal model, in which the teacher  was governing the class like the mother his family and in the professional model that sees the teacher  as an expert and insists on his competence, in terms of knowledge and of pedagogic techniques.</I></P>     <p><I>We chose like initial referent of our study the year of 1942 when, for the act n.&ordm; 32 243 of 5th September  1942, the Lisbon, Oporto, Coimbra and Braga primary teaching schools (Escolas do Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio)  were reopened.</I></P>     <p><I>We chose like final referent of our study the year of 2000, the close of the century and of the millennium,  when the first teachers of the 1st teachers of the 1st cycle of the basic teaching (professores  do 1.&ordm; Ciclo do Ensino B&aacute;sico) were formed and when they started to have a degree (act n.&ordm;  115, of 19  September 1997).</I></P>     <p><I>From the initial formation of elementary school teachers (professores do Ensino Prim&aacute;rio),  when Primary Teaching Schools (Escolas do Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio) were reopened (1942), to the  beginning of the Colleges of Education (Escolas Superiores de Educa&ccedil;&atilde;o), (1986) and to the promulgation of the Statute of theTeaching Run (1990), to the demand of the degree course in the  initial formation of the teachers of the 1st cycle (professores do 1.&ordm; Ciclo do Ensino B&aacute;sico),  (1997) we question:</I></P>     <p><I>- What are the concepts of education, teacher and apprenticeship of theachers&rsquo; initial  formation carried out in Schools of the Primary Teaching Escolas do Magist&eacute;rio Prim&aacute;rio)  and in Colleges of Education (Escolas Superiores de Educa&ccedil;&atilde;o)?</I></P>     <p><I>- How have those concepts changed due to the fact that new models of initial formation were adopted since  the Portuguese Revolution of 25 April 1974 ?</I></P>       ]]></body>
