Participaram neste estudo 460 atletas, todos jogadores de futebol do género masculino, do nível distrital e nacional, das categorias de iniciados, juvenis, juniores e seniores, com uma média de idades de 17.42 ± 4.37 anos. A qualidade do modelo de equações estruturais foi examinada através do valor de qui-quadrado, e de alguns índices complementares de ajustamento. Os resultados suportam a adequação do modelo (S-B?²= 288.84, df= 147, p< 0.001, S-B?²/df= 1.96, SRMR= 0.049, NNFI= 0.912, CFI= 0.924, RMSEA= 0.046, 90%IC RMSEA= 0.038-0.054), evidenciando que um clima motivacional orientado para a tarefa tem um efeito positivo significativo sobre a motivação autónoma, que por sua vez tem um efeito positivo significativo sobre a perceção do esforço dos atletas. Por outro lado, um clima motivacional orientado para o ego teve um efeito positivo sobre a motivação controlada, que por sua vez teve um efeito negativo sobre a perceção de esforço, embora não seja significativo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to test the integration of two motivational theoretical models (self-determination theory and the achievement goal theory) to analyze the impact of motivational climate in the regulation of motivation and athletes´ effort perception. Participated in the study 460 athletes (male football players at both regional and national level, on the categories of beginners, youth, juniors and seniors, with 17.42 ± 4.37 years-old). The quality of the structural equation model was examined by the Chi-square value and some complementary model fit indices. The results support the model fit (S-B?²= 288.84, df= 147, p< 0.001, S-B?²/df= 1.96, SRMR= 0.049, NNFI= 0.912, CFI= 0.924, RMSEA= 0.046, 90%IC RMSEA= 0.038-0.054), suggesting that a motivational task-oriented climate has a significant positive effect on autonomous motivation, which in turn has a significant positive effect on athletes' effort perception. <body><![CDATA[<p><b><font size="3" face="Verdana">INTRODU&#199;&#195;O</font></b><font size="2" face="Verdana"></font></p> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p>A Teoria da Autodetermina&#231;&#227;o (SDT: <i >Self-Determination Theory</i>) (Deci & Ryan, 1985) e a Teoria dos   Objetivos de Realiza&#231;&#227;o (AGT: <i >Achievement     Goal Theory</i>) (Nicholls, 1984, 1989) s&#227;o duas teorias motivacionais sociocognitivas   que se preocupam em estudar a forma como as pessoas adotam e se envolvem em   determinados comportamentos, incluindo o da pr&#225;tica desportiva (Kingston,   Harwood, & Spray, 2006; Ntoumanis, 2001). A SDT (Deci & Ryan, 1985)   explica os constituintes da Motiva&#231;&#227;o Intr&#237;nseca e Extr&#237;nseca, bem como os fatores   relacionados com a sua promo&#231;&#227;o (Deci & Ryan, 1985, 2000), tendo em conta   os fatores da personalidade em contextos sociais e as causas e consequ&#234;ncias do   comportamento autodeterminado (Deci & Ryan, 2008). Segundo os seus autores   (Deci & Ryan, 1985, 2000), a motiva&#231;&#227;o do sujeito est&#225; relacionada com a   satisfa&#231;&#227;o de tr&#234;s necessidades psicol&#243;gicas b&#225;sicas (BPN: <i >Basic Psychological Needs</i>): necessidade de autonomia (i.e.,   necessidade de se sentir independente, na medida em que &#233; o pr&#243;prio indiv&#237;duo   que regula as suas a&#231;&#245;es), compet&#234;ncia (i.e., necessidade de se sentir   competente, ou seja de interagir com sucesso com os est&#237;mulos do meio   envolvente) e relacionamento (i.e., necessidade de se sentir vinculado a   outros, ou seja de ser considerado e apreciado). S&#227;o estas tr&#234;s BPN que   explicam a regula&#231;&#227;o do comportamento das pessoas, que se estabelece num <i >continuum</i> motivacional, que vai desde a   aus&#234;ncia de regula&#231;&#227;o ou falta de inten&#231;&#227;o para agir (amotiva&#231;&#227;o) passando   pelas formas mais controladas de motiva&#231;&#227;o (i.e., regula&#231;&#227;o externa e regula&#231;&#227;o   introjetada) e terminando nas formas mais aut&#243;nomas de motiva&#231;&#227;o (i.e.,   regula&#231;&#227;o identificada, regula&#231;&#227;o integrada e regula&#231;&#227;o intr&#237;nseca). De acordo   com Deci e Ryan (2008) esta distin&#231;&#227;o entre a motiva&#231;&#227;o controlada e aut&#243;noma &#233;   a caracter&#237;stica nuclear da SDT, conforme o enquadramento dado pela subteoria   da integra&#231;&#227;o organ&#237;smica (OIT: <i >Organismic     Integration Theory</i>) (Deci & Ryan, 2000). De uma forma geral, a OIT   explora os contextos sociais, percebendo como promovem ou inibem a   internaliza&#231;&#227;o e integra&#231;&#227;o na regula&#231;&#227;o do comportamento. S&#227;o estes dois processos   (internaliza&#231;&#227;o e integra&#231;&#227;o) que permitem que comportamentos motivados de formas extr&#237;nsecas se tornem mais autodeterminados (Ryan & Deci, 2000).</p>     <p>O segundo modelo te&#243;rico de suporte deste estudo &#233; a AGT   (Nicholls, 1984, 1989), a qual preconiza que as cogni&#231;&#245;es, respostas afetivas e   o comportamento das pessoas em contextos de realiza&#231;&#227;o s&#227;o influenciados pelos   fatores pessoais e situacionais. Ainda de acordo com Nicholls (1984, 1989), as   pessoas s&#227;o motivadas para demostrarem ou desenvolverem elevados n&#237;veis de   compet&#234;ncia, baseando esta sua avalia&#231;&#227;o em dois tipos de orienta&#231;&#227;o (i.e., ego   e tarefa). A orienta&#231;&#227;o para a tarefa relaciona-se com uma conce&#231;&#227;o de   compet&#234;ncia segundo crit&#233;rios autorreferenciados, ou seja, o &#234;xito pressup&#245;e   melhorar e dominar a tarefa na sua modalidade (&#193;lvarez, Castillo, Duda, &   Balaguer, 2009). Por outro lado a orienta&#231;&#227;o para o ego, relaciona-se com a   conce&#231;&#227;o de compet&#234;ncia segundo crit&#233;rios normativos, ou seja, o &#234;xito   pressup&#245;e uma maximiza&#231;&#227;o da demonstra&#231;&#227;o de elevada compet&#234;ncia perante os   outros (&#193;lvarez et al., 2009). De acordo com Ames (1992), s&#227;o os fatores   ambientais referentes ao envolvimento de realiza&#231;&#227;o, onde o indiv&#237;duo se   encontra, aliado &#224;s suas caracter&#237;sticas pessoais, que v&#227;o influenciar a   motiva&#231;&#227;o atrav&#233;s do clima motivacional, o qual &#233; influenciado pelos demais significativos (e.g., treinador, fam&#237;lia, amigos).</p>     <p>Dada a consist&#234;ncia e relev&#226;ncia com que cada uma destas   teorias tem sido aplicada ao contexto do desporto e exerc&#237;cio, a investiga&#231;&#227;o   recente tem-se focado na integra&#231;&#227;o de ambas as teorias SDT e AGT, com o   objetivo de proporcionar uma explica&#231;&#227;o multi-te&#243;rica para o comportamento   (Chatzisarantis & Hagger, 2007; Hagger & Chatzisarantis, 2008). Assim,   se tomarmos em considera&#231;&#227;o que a SDT sugere que o contexto social afeta os   n&#237;veis de autodetermina&#231;&#227;o do sujeito atrav&#233;s da facilita&#231;&#227;o/inibi&#231;&#227;o da   satisfa&#231;&#227;o das necessidades psicol&#243;gicas b&#225;sicas (Deci & Ryan, 2000; Ryan   & Deci, 2002, 2007), ent&#227;o o clima motivacional pode ter um impacto   importante na regula&#231;&#227;o da motiva&#231;&#227;o dos atletas porque pode facilitar ou impedir   a satisfa&#231;&#227;o das suas necessidades psicol&#243;gicas b&#225;sicas (Sarrazin, Boich&#233;,   & Pelletier, 2007). De facto, o ambiente social pode fornecer ou n&#227;o as   condi&#231;&#245;es necess&#225;rias para a motiva&#231;&#227;o aut&#243;noma, uma vez que os climas   controladores normalmente est&#227;o associados a regula&#231;&#245;es externas e   introjectadas e climas que d&#227;o suporte &#224; autonomia est&#227;o associados a   regula&#231;&#245;es identificadas, integradas e intr&#237;nsecas (Ryan & Deci, 2007), ou   seja, os contextos podem conduzir &#224; motiva&#231;&#227;o controlada se for dada mais   import&#226;ncia &#224;s recompensas, aos castigos e &#224; realiza&#231;&#227;o referenciada, ou   conduzir &#224; motiva&#231;&#227;o aut&#243;noma se derem suporte/apoio para o desenvolvimento de um comportamento autodeterminado.</p>     <p>Ao fazerem uma breve reflex&#227;o sobre as liga&#231;&#245;es entre a SDT   e a AGT, Deci e Ryan (2000) consideraram que existem uma converg&#234;ncia geral   entre os dois modelos, uma vez que ao n&#237;vel das condi&#231;&#245;es ambientais ambas as   teorias sugerem que &#8220;os ambientes que s&#227;o menos avaliativos e que d&#227;o mais   apoio ao desejo intr&#237;nseco de aprender promovem a base para aumentar a   realiza&#231;&#227;o e o bem-estar&#8221; (p. 260). Por outro lado, os climas motivacionais   orientados para a mestria (tarefa) s&#227;o promotores de padr&#245;es motivacionais   adaptativos e est&#227;o associados ao aumento do bem-estar psicol&#243;gico e &#224;   persist&#234;ncia no comportamento (Duda, 2001; Duda & Balaguer, 2007; Hagger   & Chatzisarantis, 2008; Ntoumanis & Biddle, 1999). Por isso, segundo   Ntoumanis e Biddle (1999) e Hagger e Chatzisarantis (2008) um clima   motivacional orientado para a mestria &#233; compat&#237;vel com a motiva&#231;&#227;o aut&#243;noma   considerando que contextos desta natureza promovem crit&#233;rios de sucesso mais   intr&#237;nsecos e est&#227;o associados ao aumento da motiva&#231;&#227;o intr&#237;nseca. Em   contraste, um clima orientado para a performance, que opera numa base onde o   crit&#233;rio de sucesso &#233; normativo, pode diminuir a motiva&#231;&#227;o intr&#237;nseca por colocar uma maior &#234;nfase nas contin&#234;ncias externas.</p>     <p>Assim sendo, quando falamos de diferen&#231;as individuais na   orienta&#231;&#227;o dos objetivos de realiza&#231;&#227;o, podemos dizer que, segundo Kingston et   al. (2006) e Wang e Biddle (2007), a orienta&#231;&#227;o para a tarefa parece estar mais   associada a maiores n&#237;veis de autonomia (mais autodetermina&#231;&#227;o) e   consequentemente a padr&#245;es comportamentais mais adaptativos (e.g., mais   divertimento, menos aborrecimento, mais persist&#234;ncia) e, ao contr&#225;rio, a   orienta&#231;&#227;o para o ego parece associar-se a menores n&#237;veis de autonomia (menos   autodetermina&#231;&#227;o) e consequentemente a padr&#245;es mal adaptativos (e.g., menos   divertimento, mais aborrecimento, menos persist&#234;ncia). Alguns estudos   realizados, nos mais diversos contextos da atividade f&#237;sica, t&#234;m demonstrado   empiricamente a liga&#231;&#227;o entre as duas teorias nesse sentido, nomeadamente no   contexto do desporto (e.g., Ntounamis, 2001; Pethercik & Weigand, 2002; Spray, Wang, Biddle, & Chatzisarantis, 2006).</p>     <p>De facto, na &#250;ltima d&#233;cada em especial, diversos estudos   aplicados ao contexto do desporto t&#234;m vindo a demonstrar que as varia&#231;&#245;es dos   objetivos de realiza&#231;&#227;o (quer ao n&#237;vel disposicional, quer ao n&#237;vel   situacional) est&#227;o associadas a diferentes n&#237;veis de autodetermina&#231;&#227;o (Ahmadi   et al., 2012; &#193;lvarez et al., 2009; Calvo et al., 2008; G&#243;mez-L&#243;pez, Granero-Gallegos,   Abraldes, & Rodr&#237;guez-Suar&#233;z, 2013; L&#243;pez-Walle et al., 2011; Moreno et   al., 2010; Ommundsen, Lemyre, Abrahamsen, & Roberts, 2010; Vansteenkiste,   Mouratidis, Van Riet, & Lens, 2014), colocando em evid&#234;ncia que um   clima/orienta&#231;&#227;o motivacional para a tarefa relaciona-se com a motiva&#231;&#227;o   aut&#243;noma, enquanto um clima/orienta&#231;&#227;o motivacional para o ego relaciona-se com   a motiva&#231;&#227;o controlada. Este tipo de rela&#231;&#245;es tamb&#233;m tem vindo a ser   demonstrada de forma consistente em outros contextos da atividade f&#237;sica,   nomeadamente, na educa&#231;&#227;o f&#237;sica escolar (e.g., Fernandes, Vasconcelos-Raposo,   L&#225;zaro, & Dosil, 2004; Murcia, Rom&#225;n, Galindo, Alonso, & Cutre, 2008;   Zan, Podlog, & Harrison, 2012) e no exerc&#237;cio f&#237;sico (e.g., Mout&#227;o, Alves,   & Cid, 2012; Murcia, Blanco, Galindo, Villodre, & Coll, 2007). Assim   como, uma revis&#227;o sistem&#225;tica publicada recentemente (Teixeira, Carra&#231;a,   Markland, Silva, & Ryan, 2012) colocou em evid&#234;ncia que as formas mais   aut&#243;nomas de regula&#231;&#227;o do comportamento s&#227;o preditores positivos da atividade f&#237;sica e exerc&#237;cio, a curto e longo prazo.</p>     <p>Em suma, segundo Chatzisarantis e Hagger (2007), parece   evidente de que existe tamb&#233;m uma rela&#231;&#227;o (te&#243;rica e emp&#237;rica) entre os construtos   subjacentes &#224; AGT (i.e., clima e orienta&#231;&#227;o motivacional) e &#224; SDT (necessidades   psicol&#243;gicas b&#225;sicas e regula&#231;&#227;o comportamental), cujo impacto positivo sobre   as mais diversas vari&#225;veis &#233; ineg&#225;vel, tal como demonstram os estudos aplicados   ao contexto do desporto, como por exemplo: menor abandono da modalidade   (Sarrazin et al., 2002), mais persist&#234;ncia na modalidade (Pelletier et al.,   2001), mais divertimento durante a pr&#225;tica (Spray et al., 2006), melhor estado   psicol&#243;gico (<i >flow</i>) dos atletas   (Moreno et al., 2010), maior coes&#227;o de grupo (Calvo et al., 2008), mais   autoestima dos atletas (L&#243;pez-Walle et al., 2011), mais vitalidade subjetiva   percecionada pelos atletas (Ommundsen et al., 2010), e maior satisfa&#231;&#227;o com a performance (Vansteenkiste et al., 2014).</p> </font>     <p><font size="2" face="Verdana">Desta forma, apesar de existirem diferentes estudos que   integram a teoria dos objetivos de realiza&#231;&#227;o e a teoria da autodetermina&#231;&#227;o   para analisar o impacto das suas vari&#225;veis no comportamento e emo&#231;&#245;es das   pessoas (tal como foi mencionado nos estudos acima indicados), existe ainda uma   lacuna na literatura no que diz respeito aos estudos que analisam esse impacto   especificamente na perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o dos atletas, justificando-se assim o   objetivo principal do presente estudo: analisar as rela&#231;&#245;es causais   hipotetizadas num modelo que integra a AGT e a SDT, para compreender qual o   impacto do clima motivacional, na regula&#231;&#227;o da motiva&#231;&#227;o e na perce&#231;&#227;o do esfor&#231;o dos atletas na modalidade de futebol.</font>     <p>&nbsp;</p>     ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p><b><font size="3" face="Verdana">M&#201;TODO</font> </b>     <p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><b>Participantes</b></font><font size="2" face="Verdana"></font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p>Neste estudo participaram 460 atletas, do sexo masculino, da   modalidade de futebol, dos escal&#245;es de iniciados (n= 122), juvenis (n= 173),   juniores (n= 49) e seniores (n= 116), com idades compreendidas entre os 14 e os   36 anos (M= 17.42, DP= 4.37). Dos 460 atletas, 360 praticavam a modalidade a   n&#237;vel distrital e 100 a n&#237;vel nacional, sendo que 51 s&#227;o guarda-redes, 152   defesas, 157 m&#233;dios e 100 avan&#231;ados. Os atletas indicaram ainda uma experi&#234;ncia   na modalidade que variou entre 1 e 24 anos de pr&#225;tica (M= 8.20, DP= 4.23) e um   n&#250;mero de treinos semanais entre 1 e 5 (M = 3.28, DP= 0.57), com uma dura&#231;&#227;o entre 60 a 120 minutos por sess&#227;o (M= 97.53, DP= 13.41).</p> </font>     <p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><b>Instrumentos</b></font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p><i >Behaviour Regulation Sport Questionnaire </i>(BRSQ: Lonsdale, Hodge, & Rose,   2008). Este question&#225;rio &#233; constitu&#237;do por 24 itens aos quais se   responde numa escala tipo Likert de 7 n&#237;veis, que variam entre 1 (&#8220;nada   verdadeira para mim&#8221;) e o 7 (&#8220;totalmente verdadeira para mim&#8221;). Os itens   agrupam-se posteriormente em 6 fatores (com 4 itens cada), que refletem os   tipos de motiva&#231;&#227;o subjacente ao <i >continuum</i> motivacional da teoria da autodetermina&#231;&#227;o (SDT: Deci & Ryan, 1985). Para o   presente estudo utilizou-se a vers&#227;o validada de forma preliminar para a   popula&#231;&#227;o portuguesa por Monteiro et al. (2013), com recurso a uma an&#225;lise   fatorial confirmat&#243;ria, numa amostra de 623 atletas da modalidade de futebol,   apresentando o seu modelo de medida (6 fatores com 3 itens cada) valores   aceit&#225;veis de ajustamento aos dados: S-B?&#178;=   365.6, <i >df</i>= 120, <i >p</i>< 0.001, S-B?&#178;/<i >df</i>= 3.05, SRMR= 0.055, NNFI= 0.907, CFI=   0.927, RMSEA= 0.057, RMSEA 90% CI= 0.051-0.064. No presente estudo,   obtiveram-se os seguintes &#237;ndices de fiabilidade interna: amotiva&#231;&#227;o (a= 0.81), regula&#231;&#227;o   externa (a= 0.83),   regula&#231;&#227;o introjetada (a=   0.68), regula&#231;&#227;o identificada (a=   0.62), regula&#231;&#227;o integrada (a=   0.68) e motiva&#231;&#227;o intr&#237;nseca (a= 0.72).</p>     <p><i >Motivational Climate Sport Youth Scale </i>(MCSYS: Smith, Cumming, & Smoll,   2008). Este question&#225;rio &#233; constitu&#237;do por 12 itens aos quais se   responde numa escala do tipo Likert de 5 n&#237;veis, que variam entre o 1 (&#8220;nada   verdade&#8221;) a 5 (&#8220;muito verdade&#8221;). Os itens agrupam-se posteriormente em 2   fatores (com 6 itens cada), que refletem as formas de percecionar o clima   motivacional, subjacentes &#224; teoria dos objetivos de realiza&#231;&#227;o (Nicholls,   1984). Para o presente estudo utilizou-se a vers&#227;o validada de forma   confirmat&#243;ria por Borrego e Silva (2012). No presente estudo o question&#225;rio   apresentou os seguintes valores de fiabilidade interna para os participantes da   nossa amostra: clima motivacional orientado para o ego (a= 0.66) e tarefa (a= 0.68). No entanto,   opt&#225;mos por retirar os itens de cota&#231;&#227;o invertida (1 e 12), ambos do fator ego,   aumentando a sua consist&#234;ncia interna (a= 0.70).</p>     <p><i >Intrinsic Motivation Inventory</i> (IMI: McAuley, Duncan, &   Tammen, 1989). Para o presente estudo utilizou-se a vers&#227;o portuguesa de   Fonseca e Brito (2001), mas apenas a subescala da perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o,   constitu&#237;da por 5 itens (2, 6, 10, 14, 17), aos quais se responde numa escala   tipo Likert de 5 n&#237;veis de resposta, que variam entre 1 (&#8220;discordo totalmente&#8221;)   e 5 (&#8220;concordo totalmente&#8221;), salientando que o score dos itens 14 e 17 foi   previamente invertido devido &#224; sua formula&#231;&#227;o sem&#226;ntica. No presente estudo   esta subescala apresentou uma fiabilidade interna de 0.64. No entanto, opt&#225;mos   por retirar os itens de cota&#231;&#227;o invertida, o que aumentou a consist&#234;ncia interna (a=0.71).</p> </font>     <p><font size="2" face="Verdana"><b>Procedimentos</b></font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p>Ap&#243;s a obten&#231;&#227;o da autoriza&#231;&#227;o por parte dos clubes e da   assinatura do consentimento informado por parte dos participantes (no caso dos   atletas menores de idade foi obtido atrav&#233;s dos encarregados de educa&#231;&#227;o),   todos os dados foram recolhidos e analisados de forma an&#243;nima garantindo assim   o princ&#237;pio da confidencialidade. Real&#231;a-se ainda, que os dados dos   question&#225;rios foram recolhidos no final das sess&#245;es de treino, demorando cerca de 20 minutos a sua aplica&#231;&#227;o.</p> </font>     <p><b><font size="2" face="Verdana">An&#225;lise Estat&#237;stica</font></b><font size="2" face="Verdana"></font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p>A an&#225;lise de dados foi realizada em fun&#231;&#227;o das orienta&#231;&#245;es/recomenda&#231;&#245;es   operacionalizadas por Cid, Rosado, Alves e Leit&#227;o (2012), sendo o m&#233;todo de   estima&#231;&#227;o utilizado o da m&#225;xima verosimilhan&#231;a (ML), atrav&#233;s do teste do   qui-quadrado, com a corre&#231;&#227;o de Satorra-Bentler (S-B?&#178;: ver Satorra & Bentler, 1994),   que corrige os valores para a n&#227;o normalidade da distribui&#231;&#227;o dos dados e   produz resultados mais satisfat&#243;rios (Chou & Bentler, 1995), pois o valor   do coeficiente de Mardia (43.64) indicou uma distribui&#231;&#227;o multivariada n&#227;o   normal dos dados no presente estudo. Para al&#233;m do teste S-B?&#178;, os respetivos   graus de liberdade (<i >df</i>) e o n&#237;vel de   signific&#226;ncia (<i >p</i>), foram ainda   utilizados os seguintes &#237;ndices de ajustamento: <i >Standardized Root Mean Square Residual</i> (SRMR), <i >Comparative Fit Index</i> (CFI), <i >Non-Normed     Fit Index</i> (NNFI), <i >Root Mean Square       Error of Approximation </i>(RMSEA) e o respetivo intervalo de confian&#231;a (90%   CI). No presente estudo, para os &#237;ndices referidos, foram adotados os valores   de corte sugeridos por Hu e Bentler (1999): SRMR=   0.08, CFI e NNFI=   0.95 e RMSEA=   0.06. A an&#225;lise foi realizada com o recurso ao software de an&#225;lise de equa&#231;&#245;es estruturais EQS 6.1 (Bentler, 2002).</p> </font>     <p>&nbsp;</p>     <p><font size="3"><b><font face="Verdana">RESULTADOS</font></b></font><font size="2" face="Verdana"> </font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p>Como podemos observar na <a href="/img/revistas/mot/v10n4/10n04a10t1.jpg">Tabela 1</a>, tomando em considera&#231;&#227;o   os valores de corte adotados (Hu & Bentler, 1999), o modelo inicialmente hipotetizado (modelo 1) n&#227;o se ajustou de forma aceit&#225;vel aos nossos dados.</p>     
<p>Desta forma, analisando os par&#226;metros individuais,   identific&#225;mos algumas inconsist&#234;ncias (e.g., valores residuais muito elevados)   relacionadas com os itens 4 e 5 da subescala da perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o (itens da   escala com score previamente invertidos), bem como, com os itens 1 e 12 da   perce&#231;&#227;o do clima motivacional orientado para o ego (<a href="/img/revistas/mot/v10n4/10n04a10f1.jpg">Figura 1</a>). Por outro lado,   tamb&#233;m se constatou que os pesos fatoriais dos itens mencionados eram demasiado   baixos (< 0.30) para serem    considerados relevantes (Hair et al., 2006; Kahn, 2006; Worthington &   Whittaker), pelo que opt&#225;mos pela reespecifica&#231;&#227;o do modelo atrav&#233;s da elimina&#231;&#227;o destes itens.</p>     
<p>Analisando os resultados relativos ao modelo reespecificado   (<a href="/img/revistas/mot/v10n4/10n04a10f2.jpg">Figura 2</a>), podemos afirmar que existe uma correla&#231;&#227;o negativa significativa (<i >r</i>= -0.59), entre a perce&#231;&#227;o de um   clima motivacional orientado para o ego e para a tarefa. Podemos observar   tamb&#233;m, que a perce&#231;&#227;o de um clima motivacional orientado para a tarefa tem um   efeito positivo significativo sobre a motiva&#231;&#227;o aut&#243;noma (<i >&#223;</i>= 0.62), que por sua vez tem um efeito positivo, tamb&#233;m   significativo, sobre a perce&#231;&#227;o do esfor&#231;o (<i >&#223;</i>=   0.17). Por outro lado, a perce&#231;&#227;o de um clima motivacional orientado para o ego   tem um efeito positivo significativo sobre a motiva&#231;&#227;o controlada (<i >&#223;</i>= 0.41), que por sua vez tem um efeito   negativo sobre a perce&#231;&#227;o do esfor&#231;o (<i >&#223;</i>=   -0.05), por&#233;m n&#227;o significativo. Por &#250;ltimo, verificamos, que na sua   totalidade, as vari&#225;veis do modelo explicam apenas cerca de 4% da vari&#226;ncia da perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o dos atletas.</p> </font>     
<p>&nbsp;</p>     <p><b><font size="3" face="Verdana">DISCUSS&#195;O</font></b></p> <font size="2" face="Verdana">     <p>Tendo por base o principal objetivo deste estudo, analisar   qual o impacto da perce&#231;&#227;o do clima motivacional sobre a regula&#231;&#227;o da motiva&#231;&#227;o   e a perce&#231;&#227;o esfor&#231;o dos atletas na modalidade de futebol, verific&#225;mos que o   nosso modelo final apresentou valores de ajustamento bastante aceit&#225;veis, pese   embora o facto dos &#237;ndices de ajustamento incrementais (CFI e NNFI) n&#227;o terem   atingido os valores de corte adotados sugeridos por Hu e Bentler (1999). No   entanto, aceitamos o modelo como bom pois nem todos os autores aconselham que   se generalize os valores de corte sugeridos por Hu e Bentler (Marsh, Hau, &   Hen, 2004), apontando-se para 0.90 como valor de corte aceit&#225;vel de ajustamento   (Brown, 2006; Kline, 2005; Marsh et al., 2004; Whorthington & Whittaker, 2006).</p>     <p>Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram que um clima motivacional   envolvendo o ego tem um efeito preditivo positivo e significativo com formas de   motiva&#231;&#227;o mais controladas, ou seja, menos autodeterminadas, no entanto, o   efeito negativo que estas t&#234;m sobre a perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o dos atletas n&#227;o &#233;   significativo. De acordo com Ntoumanis (2001), as pessoas orientadas para o ego   possuem uma rela&#231;&#227;o direta com as formas de motiva&#231;&#227;o menos autodeterminadas   (motiva&#231;&#227;o controlada) e v&#225;rios estudos t&#234;m corroborado esta afirma&#231;&#227;o (&#193;lvarez   et al., 2009; Calvo et al., 2008, L&#243;pez-Walle et al., 2011; Moreno et al.,   2010), pois os seus resultados mostram que um clima motivacional/orienta&#231;&#227;o   para o ego est&#227;o relacionados negativamente com a motiva&#231;&#227;o autodeterminada (mais aut&#243;noma).</p>     ]]></body>
<body><![CDATA[<p>Por outro lado, os resultados do nosso estudo tamb&#233;m   evidenciaram que a perce&#231;&#227;o de um clima motivacional orientado para a tarefa   tem um efeito preditivo positivo e significativo sobre formas de motiva&#231;&#227;o   aut&#243;nomas (mais autodeterminadas), que por sua vez, tamb&#233;m t&#234;m um efeito   positivo e significativo sobre a perce&#231;&#227;o do esfor&#231;o. Estes resultados v&#227;o ao   encontro aos obtidos no estudo realizado por Ahmadi et al. (2012), com 255   jovens atletas iranianos, de diferentes modalidades coletivas (incluindo o futebol),   no que diz respeito ao facto de um clima orientado para a tarefa se relacionar positivamente   com formas de motiva&#231;&#227;o mais autodeterminadas (i.e., regula&#231;&#227;o identificada,   integrada e intr&#237;nseca). Tamb&#233;m no estudo de L&#243;pez-Walle et al., (2011), realizado   com 651 jovens atletas mexicanos, de modalidades individuais, se verificaram as   mesmas conclus&#245;es. No que diz respeito ao impacto do clima motivacional e da   regula&#231;&#227;o motiva&#231;&#227;o na perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o dos atletas, n&#227;o foram encontrados   estudos na literatura que pudessem ser confrontados com os nossos resultados ao   n&#237;vel da perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o. No entanto, se partirmos do pressuposto te&#243;rico   subjacente &#224; teoria dos objetivos de realiza&#231;&#227;o (Duda, 2001; Roberts, 2001), de   que o esfor&#231;o &#233; uma consequ&#234;ncia positiva da motiva&#231;&#227;o do atleta (quando   orientada para a tarefa), ent&#227;o os nossos resultados, que evidenciaram uma   rela&#231;&#227;o positiva e significativa entre clima motivacional orientado para a   tarefa, a motiva&#231;&#227;o aut&#243;noma e a perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o, podem ser corroborados   com alguns estudos realizados no contexto desportivo (e.g., L&#243;pez-Walle et al.,   2011; Moreno et al., 2010; Pelletier et al., 2001), nos quais foram encontradas   correla&#231;&#245;es positivas significativas entre o clima motivacional orientado para   a tarefa, as formas aut&#243;nomas de regula&#231;&#227;o da motiva&#231;&#227;o e as consequ&#234;ncias   comportamentais positivas, autoestima, <i >flow</i> disposicional e persist&#234;ncia na modalidade, respetivamente. Os resultados   destes estudos comprovam empiricamente as conclus&#245;es de uma revis&#227;o de   literatura sobre o clima motivacional na atividade f&#237;sica e desportiva,   realizada por Ntoumanis e Biddle (1999), na qual os autores identificaram claramente   uma associa&#231;&#227;o entre um clima motivacional orientado para a tarefa e consequ&#234;ncias comportamentais, cognitivas e afetivas positivas.</p>     <p>Por &#250;ltimo, &#233; importante real&#231;ar ainda, que o modelo   analisado explica apenas uma pequena quantidade da vari&#226;ncia da perce&#231;&#227;o de   esfor&#231;o (4%), o que &#233; muito comum na &#225;rea das ci&#234;ncias sociais e humanas. De   facto, o poder preditivo das teorias explicativas do comportamento &#233; ainda   muito modesto no dom&#237;nio da investiga&#231;&#227;o em atividade f&#237;sica e desportiva   (Biddle & Fuchs, 2009), pois muito raramente os modelos propostos pelos   investigadores explicam mais do que 20% da vari&#226;ncia das vari&#225;veis de resultado   (e.g., &#193;lvarez, Balaguer, et al., 2009; &#193;lvarez, Castillo, et al., 2009; Ntoumanis, 2001; Sarrazin et al., 2002).</p> </font>     <p>&nbsp;</p>     <p><font size="3"><b><font face="Verdana">CONCLUS&#213;ES</font></b></font><font size="2" face="Verdana"> </font> <font size="2" face="Verdana">    <p>Com os resultados do presente estudo podemos retirar   importantes ila&#231;&#245;es para a pr&#225;tica, uma vez que o modelo testado indica   claramente que quando se promove um clima motivacional orientado para a tarefa   (i.e., um clima que d&#225; &#234;nfase ao desenvolvimento pessoal e &#224; realiza&#231;&#227;o da   atividade por crit&#233;rios autorreferenciados), promove-se a motiva&#231;&#227;o autodeterminada   (i.e., a identifica&#231;&#227;o do sujeito com a modalidade, a sua integra&#231;&#227;o no <i >self</i> e o prazer com a sua pr&#225;tica), que   por sua vez tem um impacto positivo no comportamento, promovendo uma maior   perce&#231;&#227;o de esfor&#231;o por parte do atleta na realiza&#231;&#227;o das tarefas inerentes &#224; pr&#225;tica da modalidade.</p>     <p> Por &#250;ltimo, como   recomenda&#231;&#245;es para futuras investiga&#231;&#245;es, sugerimos que seja estudada a an&#225;lise   da invari&#226;ncia do modelo em fun&#231;&#227;o dos diferentes escal&#245;es competitivos,   permitindo verificar se os impactos entre as vari&#225;veis estudadas, no presente   estudo, se mant&#234;m inalter&#225;veis.
