A 15-year-old female patient was admitted to a private clinic 30 minutes after an accident at school. After clinical and radiographic examinations, tooth 21 was diagnosed with enamel fracture and horizontal root fracture, tooth 22 was diagnosed with lateral luxation, and teeth 12, 11, and 23 were diagnosed with subluxation. Teeth 21 and 22 presented pulp necrosis resulting in root canal treatment. Moreover, tooth 21 was filled with a paste composed of calcium hydroxide, 2% chlorhexidine gel, and zinc oxide, and tooth 22 was filled conventionally. After a 10-year follow-up, her teeth 21 and 22 showed no root resorption or periapical lesion, while her teeth 12, 11, and 23 still presented pulpal vitality.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Este relato de caso teve como objetivo descrever um acompanhamento de dez anos após o tratamento imediato de múltiplos traumas dentários. Uma paciente do sexo feminino de quinze anos compareceu a uma clínica privada trinta minutos após um acidente na escola. Após exames clínicos e radiográficos, o dente 21 foi diagnosticado com fratura de esmalte e fratura radicular horizontal, o dente 22 foi diagnosticado com luxação lateral, e os dentes 12, 11 e 23 foram diagnosticados com subluxação. Os dentes 21 e 22 apresentaram necrose pulpar e foram tratados endodonticamente. O dente 21 foi obturado com uma pasta composta de hidróxido de cálcio, gel de clorexidina 2% e óxido de zinco, e o dente 22 foi obturado de maneira convencional. Após acompanhamento de dez anos, os dentes 21 e 22 não apresentam reabsorção radicular ou lesão periapical, enquanto os dentes 12, 11 e 23 continuam apresentando vitalidade pulpar.]]></p></abstract>
