Para hacer frente a estos retos, el sector se ha profesionalizado cada vez más, armonizando y normalizando las prácticas y centrándose en la seguridad sobre el terreno y de sus trabajadores. Sin embargo, esta evolución plantea interrogantes sobre las repercusiones en la organización del trabajo y la transmisión de conocimientos esenciales para la gestión de riesgos. Este estudio cualitativo, realizado en África Occidental, puso de manifiesto una dicotomía entre las formas de transmisión de los conocimientos, destacando el predominio de la gestión de control. Esto favorece los métodos formales de transmisión en detrimento de los conocimientos informales, esenciales para la eficacia sobre el terreno. El estudio aboga por un enfoque más integrador, capaz de conciliar los imperativos del terreno con las directrices de las organizaciones no gubernamentales, a fin de mejorar la seguridad y la eficacia de las intervenciones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo No setor humanitário, as operações são marcadas por desafios organizacionais relacionados com as crises no terreno e a expansão do setor. Para responder a estes desafios, o setor tornou-se cada vez mais profissional, harmonizando e normalizando práticas e concentrando-se na segurança do terreno e dos seus trabalhadores. No entanto, esta evolução levanta questões sobre o impacto na organização do trabalho e na transmissão de conhecimentos essenciais à gestão dos riscos. Este estudo qualitativo, realizado na África Ocidental, revelou uma dicotomia entre os modos de transmissão dos conhecimentos, destacando a predominância do controlo da gestão. Este facto favorece os métodos formais de transmissão em detrimento dos conhecimentos informais que são essenciais para a eficácia no terreno. O estudo apela a uma abordagem mais inclusiva, capaz de conciliar os imperativos do terreno com as diretivas das organizações não governamentais, a fim de melhorar a segurança e a eficácia das intervenções.]]></p></abstract>

Pour y faire face, la professionnalisation s'est affirmée en harmonisant et en standardisant les pratiques, mettant l'accent sur la sécurité des terrains et des travailleurs. Cependant, cette évolution soulève des questions sur l&#8217;impact sur l'organisation du travail et la transmission des savoirs essentiels à la gestion des risques. Cette étude qualitative, réalisée en Afrique de l'Ouest, a révélé une dichotomie entre les modes de transmission des savoirs, soulignant la prédominance d'une gestion contrôlante. Celle-ci privilégie les modes formels de transmission au détriment des connaissances informelles essentielles à l'efficacité sur le terrain. To meet these challenges, the sector has become increasingly professional, harmonizing and standardizing practices and focusing on the safety of the field and its workers. However, this development raises questions about the impact on the organization of work and the transmission of knowledge essential to risk management. This qualitative study, carried out in West Africa, revealed a dichotomy between the ways in which knowledge is passed on, highlighting the predominance of controlling management. This favors formal methods of transmission to the detriment of the informal knowledge that is essential for effectiveness in the field. The study calls for a more inclusive approach, capable of reconciling the imperatives of the field with the directives of non-governmental organizations, in order to improve the safety and effectiveness of interventions.]]></p></abstract>
