Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la opción de despliegue que deben seguir las operadoras móviles del Ecuador para la implementación de la 5G basado en el modelo la asociación de sistema global para las comunicaciones móviles (GSMA) y su interacción con el internet de las cosas (IoT). Para realizar el análisis se hizo un estudio sistemático de la literatura. La información recabada fue analizada con QDA Miner. Como resultado se obtuvo que la opción tres con escenario NSA del GSMA es la más conveniente para el despliegue de la 5G en Ecuador. Finalmente, se concluye que en Ecuador se tiene programado el uso de la 5G para la transformación de sus ciudades en ciudades inteligentes; no obstante, no tiene una hoja de ruta para desplegar esta tecnología.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract 5G is causing a technological revolution that will impact the socioeconomic and geopolitical areas of all countries in the world. This study aims to analyze the deployment option to be followed by mobile operators in Ecuador for 5G implementation based on the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) model and its interaction with the Internet of Things (IoT). A systematic literature review was conducted for the analysis. The collected information was analyzed with QDA Miner. As a result, option three with the GSMA's ANS scenario was found to be the most suitable for 5G deployment in Ecuador. Finally, it is concluded that Ecuador is planning to use 5G to transform its cities into smart cities; however, it does not have a roadmap to deploy this technology.]]></p></abstract>
