En este sentido, fue necesario capacitar a los docentes ante las carencias detectadas en la formación docente, al cambiar de la modalidad presencial a la virtual para que enfrentaran los retos educativos actuales para desempeñar su práctica docente de manera exitosa. El objetivo de este proyecto es romper paradigmas en la formación docente universitaria de los profesores en la Unidad Académica de Gastronomía y Nutrición Mazatlán (UAGyNM) de la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS) a través de videos tutoriales; la difusión fue por medio de una campaña de expectativa y concientización sobre la importancia de este fenómeno, que impacta directamente en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes. La recogida de datos se hace con un pre y post-test a los docentes, y una entrevista a los estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The purpose of higher education is to train students efficiently to meet the needs of today's society; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was mandatory to implement a contingency plan so that the teaching-learning process was not affected. In this sense, it was necessary to train teachers in the face of the deficiencies detected in teacher training when changing from the face-to-face modality to the virtual one to face the current educational challenges to carry out their teaching practice successfully. This project aims to break paradigms in the university teaching training of the professors in the Academic Unit of Gastronomy and Nutrition Mazatlán of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa through tutorial videos. The dissemination was through a campaign of expectation and awareness of the importance of this phenomenon, which directly impacts students' academic performance. The data collection is done with a pre and post-test to the teachers and an interview with the students.]]></p></abstract>
