O objetivo deste artigo é descobrir as principais contribuições da literatura científica sobre smart cities e sustentabilidade. Para o efeito, foi efetuada uma análise bibliométrica sobre o tema das cidades inteligentes sustentáveis, utilizando a base de dados Scopus. Esta pesquisa resultou numa lista de 6891 documentos, que foram posteriormente analisados com recurso ao software VOSviewer, incluindo vários métodos analíticos e unidades de análise. A análise das palavras-chave identificou seis grupos temáticos: (1) Qualidade de vida; (2) IoT, Big Data e tecnologias de computação em nuvem; (3) eficiência energética; (4) informação e comunicação associadas ao crescimento urbano; (5) alterações climáticas e poluição; e (6) transportes urbanos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract A smart and sustainable city is an innovative city that uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and other means to improve the quality of life, the efficiency of urban operations and services, and competitiveness while ensuring that the needs of present and future generations are met in economic, social, environmental, and cultural terms. This article aims to discover the main contributions of the scientific literature on smart, sustainable cities. To this end, using the Scopus database, a bibliographic search was carried out on sustainable smart cities. This search resulted in a list of 6891 documents, which were then analyzed using VOSviewer software, including various analytical methods and units of analysis. The keyword analysis identified six thematic groups: (1) Quality of Life; (2) IoT, big data and cloud computing technologies; (3) energy efficiency; (4) information and communication with urban growth; (5) climate change and pollution; and (6) urban transport.]]></p></abstract>
