Con el objetivo de superar las limitaciones de las pruebas físicas tradicionales, como el test de Ishihara y el test de Farnsworth-Munsell, se adoptó un enfoque metodológico basado en el marco ágil Scrum. Este permitió una planificación iterativa y una colaboración continua con profesionales clínicos, asegurando la alineación funcional y técnica del sistema con las necesidades reales del entorno médico. La plataforma web fue desarrollada con especial énfasis en la usabilidad y accesibilidad, evaluadas mediante dos metodologías complementarias: (1) una evaluación de usabilidad basada en el Cuestionario de Usabilidad de Lewis (SUS), aplicada a usuarios finales, cuya media de resultados alcanzó un 95,71 % de aceptación; y (2) una evaluación de accesibilidad conforme a las Pautas de Accesibilidad para el Contenido Web (WCAG) 2.1, utilizando la herramienta WAVE, obteniendo un cumplimiento del 97,13 % en las páginas analizadas. Los resultados obtenidos evidencian que SIONDAL constituye una solución digital eficaz, accesible y centrada en el usuario, que optimiza los procesos de administración, ejecución y seguimiento de pruebas oftalmológicas, al tiempo que refuerza los principios de sostenibilidad, calidad y equidad en el diseño de tecnologías para la salud.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study addresses the evolving landscape of ophthalmology through the development and implementation of SIONDAL, a digital health information platform designed to assess and detect ophthalmologic deficiencies, particularly in color vision and visual acuity. To overcome the limitations of traditional physical tests-such as the Ishihara and Farnsworth-Munsell tests-a methodological approach based on the agile Scrum framework was adopted. This enabled iterative planning and continuous collaboration with clinical professionals, ensuring both functional and technical alignment of the system with real-world medical needs. The web-based platform was developed with a strong emphasis on usability and accessibility, evaluated through two complementary methods: (1) a usability assessment using the System Usability Scale (SUS), applied to end users, which yielded an average acceptance score of 95.71%; and (2) an accessibility evaluation based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conducted using the WAVE tool, achieving 97.13% compliance across the analyzed pages. The results demonstrate that SIONDAL constitutes an effective, accessible, and user-centered digital solution that enhances the administration, execution, and monitoring of ophthalmologic tests, while reinforcing principles of sustainability, quality, and equity in digital health technology design.]]></p></abstract>
