A análise comparativa de coletivos teatrais em Portugal e no Brasil evidencia o caráter precário do trabalho artístico, mas revela também múltiplas resistências através de diferentes dinâmicas de organização e ação coletiva. Através de dois estudos de caso procura-se demonstrar como alguns coletivos teatrais, tal como proposto por Wright, (1) elaboram um diagnóstico e crítica do mundo e do sistema capitalista, (2) imaginam e procuram colocar na prática alternativas &#8220;viáveis&#8221; e (3) debruçam-se sobre os obstáculos e as possibilidades de transformação. O argumento central é que estes coletivos constituem organizações emancipatórias que articulam a sua linguagem artística com novas formas de organização social e de produção.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article focuses on artists&#8217; collectives based on the theoretical framework of Erik Olin Wright&#8217;s emancipatory social science. The comparative analysis of theatre collectives in Portugal and Brazil highlights the precarious nature of artistic work, but it also reveals multiple resistances, through different dynamics of collective organization and action. Through two case studies, we demonstrate how some theatre collectives, as proposed by Wright, (1) elaborate a diagnosis and critique of the world and the capitalist system, (2) imagine and try to put &#8220;viable&#8221; alternatives into practice and (3) address the obstacles and possibilities for transformation. The central argument is that these collectives are emancipatory organizations that articulate their artistic language with new forms of social and production organization.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé Dans cet article, on examine les collectifs d&#8217;artistes à partir du cadre théorique des sciences sociales émancipatrices d&#8217;Erik Olin Wright. L&#8217;analyse comparative des collectifs de théâtre au Portugal et au Brésil met en évidence la nature précaire du travail artistique, mais révèle également des résistances multiples, à travers différentes dynamiques d&#8217;organisation et d&#8217;action collective. À travers deux études de cas, on essaye de démontrer comment certains collectifs de théâtre, comme proposé par Wright, (1) élaborent un diagnostic et une critique du monde et du système capitaliste, (2) imaginent et cherchent à mettre en pratique des alternatives « viables », et (3) se concentrent sur les obstacles et les possibilités de transformation.
