As creative performance is considered a desirable work outcome expected by organizations, the present study investigated whether the work-family and family-work conflicts mediate the relationship between job conditions experienced by employees while working from home and their creative performance. The study, carried out in Sri Lanka, featured a sample of employees in white-collar or professional positions who carried on with their full-time jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic working from home. It was found that job conditions (work characteristics, work environment and technical support) significantly negatively related to both work-family conflict and family-work conflict. In addition, the results supported the mediation hypothesis.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo A pandemia de COVID-19 forçou milhões de trabalhadores em todo o mundo a realizarem as suas tarefas laborais a tempo inteiro remotamente a partir de casa. Sendo que o desempenho criativo é considerado um resultado laboral desejável esperado pelas organizações, o presente estudo investigou se os conflitos trabalho-família e família-trabalho medeiam a relação entre as condições de trabalho vivenciadas pelos trabalhadores enquanto trabalham a partir de casa, juntamente com o seu desempenho criativo. O estudo, realizado no Sri Lanka, baseia-se numa amostra de trabalhadores em cargos de colarinho branco ou em posições profissionais que continuaram a trabalhar a tempo integral a partir de casa durante a pandemia de COVID-19. Verificou-se que as condições de trabalho (características do trabalho, ambiente do trabalho e suporte técnico) se relacionam significativa e negativamente tanto com o conflito trabalho-família como com o conflito família-trabalho. Adicionalmente, os resultados fundamentaram a hipótese de mediação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="fr"><p><![CDATA[Résumé La pandémie de COVID-19 a forcé des millions d&#8217;employés dans le monde à effectuer leurs tâches à temps plein à distance depuis leur domicile. Comme la performance créative est considérée comme un résultat de travail souhaitable attendu par les organisations, la présente étude a cherché à savoir si les conflits travail-famille et famille-travail servent de médiateur de la relation entre les conditions de travail vécues par les employés lorsqu&#8217;ils travaillent à domicile et leur performance créative. L&#8217;étude, réalisée au Sri Lanka, a pour base un échantillon d&#8217;employés occupant des postes de cols blancs ou des professionnels qui ont continué à travailler à temps plein depuis leur domicile pendant la pandémie de COVID-19. Il a été constaté que les conditions de travail (caractéristiques de travail, environnement de travail et support technique) étaient significativement négativement liées à la fois au conflit travail-famille et au conflit famille-travail. De plus, les résultats appuient l&#8217;hypothèse de médiation.]]></p></abstract>
