Além dos polimorfismos genéticos, a composição da microbiota intestinal tem mostrado apresentar relação com variantes genéticas associadas a adipogênese. Portanto, o objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a relação da microbiota intestinal e dos compostos bioativos do alimento na modulação de genes relacionados a obesidade, evidenciando os principais mecanismos epigenéticos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The advancement of omic sciences has allowed the identification of genetic variants and epigenetic mechanisms involved in the outcome of obesity and nutritional factors that modulate this process. In addition to genetic polymorphisms, the composition of the intestinal microbiota has been shown to be related to genetic variants associated with adipogenesis. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the intestinal microbiota and the bioactive compounds in food in the modulation of genes related to obesity, highlighting the main epigenetic mechanisms.]]></p></abstract>
