</abstract>

It’s reactivation potential on healthy subjects is often low. There are various regimens established for the preventive treatment, most require the use of isoniazid, a drug with a high hepatotoxic potential. Case description: Female, 56 years old, healthcare worker, with a background of depressive disorder. It was diagnosed with Latent Infection Tuberculosis. Started a regimen with isoniazid exclusively. About two months following the start of the treatment, she developed drug induced liver injury associated with the antitubercular agent. Discussion/Conclusion: After the diagnosis of Latent infection tuberculosis, it is essential the exclusion of active disease tuberculosis and the investigation of active cases in the workplace. The acceptance of Toxic Hepatitis as a work-related disease raised some doubts regarding some inconsistencies in its justification.
</abstract>
